Based on the life of real-life Hero Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, Major, the film, aims to show how this valiant soldier saved the lives of numerous hostages before being martyred by the terrorists who wreaked havoc in the Taj Mahal Palace Mumbai, India on the 26th of November, 2008.

there is no unexpected situation to dub in Malayalam bro...
They are decided initially only to release in only 3 languages telugu because the cast is from telugu cast and hindi because the incident 26/11 held at Taj hotel Mumbai and especially in Malayalam because the story is based on major Sandeep unnikrishnan sir who born in Kerala....
Thes are the main reasons to release this movie in only 3 languages..they didn't want collection by name of the movie, they wanted to show what is the life of a soldier and specially about Sandeep unnikrishnan sir....
That's why this movie is not available in other languages...
But I will definitely say that this movie will be dubbed in other languages after few months but it will definitely be available in other languages also because every indian has to see this movie....

The scenes were actually shot in Telugu and Hindi. Telugu because Shesh belongs to the Telugu film industry, Hindi because Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan lived and worked all over then India, and the majority of the people in India know and can understand Hindi. It is dubbed into the Malayalam language because Major Sandeep's parents are from kerala. The film was supposed to be released only in languages i.e Hindi and Telugu but the Malayalam dubbing was taken in the last process of the film.

Sandeep himself from kerala. Not from north. He is a malayali. For work purpose he lived in north. Approx 10 years he might served in north. He died when he was 31. They dubbed in all south india languages ignored tamil. Thats my complaint.
