I skipped this month and put my sub on hiatus. Made zero sense to me why they didn't include something from John's skincare line, even if it is considered affordable skincare and the Icon box is marketed as luxe. Heck, the brushes they typically include are not especially high quality, and they've included some downright shady skincare and makeup in the past. This Icon box struck me as just a random assortment of stuff that I neither wanted nor needed.
I think John is the one with a skin care line.

Loved the lip oil on Rachel that's gorgeous 😍 I love that dry shampoo. I have a love/ hate relationship with Living Proof & that dry shampoo was in a beauty box I received so I was forced to try it. Everything else I've tired from them I haven't been impressed with.

I have gotten the first aid beauty vitamin c before. 1 pump is too much. I try to do only 1/2 a pump.
I didn’t really get why John and Chrissy were the curators this time. Especially if we didn’t get to sample any of their products.

As has already been said by other commenters, it is John Legend who has a skin care line. His line I think is called Loved. It is a very affordable line and that’s why the products are not featured in the Icon box as they are not considered luxury or premium brand. However, the reviews I’ve seen state his skincare line has good ingredients quite high up in the list and they are decent quality without the price tag associated.
Katrina, I believe you and other ambassadors got a product from Johns line in your PR box. Chrissy Tegan has a few products that follow the cozy family lifestyle line. Again, the PR Icon boxes received her cookies.

I like both of you boxes. I only get boxy and don’t get icon but I like checking out what you 2 got. One of my power picks this month was also the BTS mascara that Rachel got, which is also a hit or miss so open and try it soon. I’ve seen a lot g people complain theirs is dried out & can’t use so I’ll have to check mine when it arrives next week
The too faced better then sex is awesome I've been using it for 8 years I love it and the primer in the same line it tooo extra it is falsely level but no false lashes needed

Hey girls. When did they stop giving points for reviews on Ipsy? And I wanted the Byroe lip oil so bad and was so disappointed with it!! To me it was like a soapy smell and like flavor! I don’t think I can wear it! I just can’t and I’m so sad about it. I picked the murad too

No I had tried to get my Ipsy points for reviewing products and at first it wasn’t giving me points when I tried to do them but then I logged back in after commenting that and it prompted me to rate me box as a while on the app then it took me through and let me actually get my points for my items. I thought they had taken the points for reviews away but they just made it more annoying. lol

You can earn 15 points per subscription product review, which goes live on the 19th of each month and runs until the end of the month. During that time, a window will pop up on the IPSY homepage after logging in, prompting you to review all your monthly products to earn points. Any time outside that window, you can still review, but no points will be awarded.

I was excited about getting the Byroe but it tastes horrendous.
I was so excited to get this I immediately tried it. I hated it. It tastes like cough syrup. I hope they get different flavors. Cause I'd give it another try if they did.
