But Pete Cornish gear bites for 3 reasons: they are huge; they look like they were conceived by some office tech in the '80s; only a millionaire could justify the price spent for the small difference in tone (if there is one). I have the Providence Chrono Delay, and I love it.
Interesting that the TS sounds more musical but it sounds like it is effecting the predelay tone as the initial notes you play actually sound different to me through the 2 boxes. I couldnt take a pedal that big on my board with all the others so probably a great studio pedal only.
Both sound great. The Prov will fit on a board much better.. but the TES does sound better, more musical.. leaving the Prov sounding a little thin. Perhaps less headroom too.

The TES is just a DD-2, with low-pass filter options ... Buy a DD-2 and an EQ pedal ... :P
@@kierenmoore3236 I don't agree. Those have a proprietary buffer in them, and there's a lot more going on in them than just a low pass filter.

Tes is a nice system delay but more big!!
Prefer chrono delay or flight time!!

great comparison video. do you remember if the OD was from the Vox or an OD pedal?
I dislike the DD-2 with overdrive (in front of the amp), would I like the Chrono delay?
