Watch last year's game 3 again. Best tore it up during that game by scoring twice, and was always a handful.
Billy is such a politician when he's "answering questions" regarding Queensland. Zigs and zags amd avoids
Burton's past experience with Crichton in the centre and To'o on the wing, and familiarity with other Panthers players, not to mention his towering bombs, might be the most convincing aspect that Madge might just go with.
I thought it was already proven that the Penrith connection doesn't work in Origin.

@@LockedXVII It has in the past. In 2021 was the start of a great revival until Fittler bowed to his ch 9 masters ratings and made sure it wasn't always going to be the case.
But this year we have got rid of that pissant excuse for a coach, and have someone who is bringing back the trophy home where it belongs.
And to put things into perspective, if it wasn't for that bull$hit send off in game one, it would have been a whitewash.
Hasn't worked in past origins, won't work this time. Glad Burton was left out

@NoEvidenceForGod Not necessarily.. peter sterling has a grand stand named after him and whilst he always supported nsw and the eels passionately, when it came to analysis on games or player peformance/selection he was consistently neutral and fair.
Not saying Joey has to be like that, but it is what separates him from being a highly respected analyst as opposed to a highly respected player, same with Cam Smith.. too much passion, not enough intelligence

Latrell isn’t a full back stop gaslighting everyone. If you’re gonna compare fullbacks compare stats. There’s 1 reason latrell as stats at fullback have only been mentioned once because he makes about half the efforts and does about half the work as every other fullbacks. Even the worst fullbacks do more than latrell. He’s the best centre in the world but the worst fullback

Given the punishment handed to Joe Suaali for his shoulder to the head, I simply cannot understand how both Crichton and Mitchell didn’t even get ten in the bin for their hits on Walsh and DCE in game 2. Mitchell also upended a player in that game (Carrigan or Cotter) and missed a sin bin, where that’s standard for every Premiership game, as is a shoulder to the head.
Mitchell’s hit on Walsh was from behind, off his feet and as forceful as it gets, but he skated.
Either the NRL apologises to Suaali, or impose appropriate penalties on Mitchell and Crichton. Or their talk about protecting players heads is all BS. For Mitchell, he had a double whammy with his lifting tackle added to the hit on Walsh, so none of it makes sense as far as consistency goes.
