She is going to look good when she is bagged! 👍Looks good now just picturing the finished look👌.
That’s gonna be a slick ride when you finish! Nice wheel choice!!!
Looks awesome. Nice choice.
Stance looks great. I look forward to every Packard episode. This was a very high end car in its day. I hope when you decide on a paint scheme it reflects that.
That's the plan!
Good shit I think u should done the 20s that look like 16s and wide white walls and a hub area machined and welded in the middle
The Packard looks great with the new tires. Engine sounds good as well.
Looking good man
I applaud you for making sure the wheels are hub centric. I have seen people in Hot Rod Magazine get these super expensive custom wheels than commission super expensive full wheel covers to go in. You will have to take allowances for me being a geezer, but I think 16 inch (such as a Ford Panther platform sedan wheel) would have been the best size wheels, or even 15 inch. I have a car similar to yours and the handling is so bad, a 235 75 r15 on a 7 inch wheel or 255 70 r15 on an 8 inch wheel is much more than the suspension warrants. From a practical standpoint, you lose a lot of tire when you have so much wheel. Bent wheels will be an almost monthly event.
Also, the tire and wheel package has to be as heavy as something off a motor home. Not good for performance or braking.
I don't like the looks of 18 to 20's but that is just a matter of taste. I see that everyone else likes them. If you can get 4 inches of tire, meaning a tire outer diameter of 28 inches or more, you could avoid bent wheels on a heavy car.
I think those wheels would look good the body color with some faux patina
YES
Like the Packard content. Doing 17s on mine but this helps me feel better about making in fit. You keeping the wheel arch covers in back?
yes i did
Where did you find a gas tank for it ??
Can it spin them?!
barely
Sir,
Do you still have your Fleetwood?
Yup
