    Very nice one, thanks! You said, that you create synth presets from scratch, may be you can give me some advise. I have a hard time creating pluck or xylophone sounds using Deluge synth, do you have any tips on that?

      Rob Jefferys I’ve seen a couple of his videos. Definitely need to dive deeper into then though, because I’ve got a lot to learn on this thing!

    I really like it. Can we expect more Jazzhop /Chillhop Videos of this kind? You should jam and play the/with the song on the end of the video!

      CasualError for sure! I’ll be doing more Jazzhop along with other types of songs/beats.
      Yeah, I’ll try to do more of that. An end jam would be fun. Thanks for the feedback!

    Nice vibe! Like your approach to making songs, very similar workflow to mine (also have the Deluge). Not as much tech-talk and more feeling. Keep up the good work.

    When you were picking the notes for your solo all the notes in a key where lit up all over the board and all you had to do was pick from some random lit up keys to perform your solo?

    • @rumbeloworks
      @rumbeloworks  4 роки тому

      I’m not positive I’m reading the question right. But when I’m playing stuff in on the Deluge I’m using the “keyboard” mode. It has an isomorphic layout (like a bass guitar). The Deluge is by default always showing notes in the scale of C major unless you change it and I usually don’t bother to.
      When you play notes the other notes lighting up are other places on the keyboard that are also that note but maybe in different octaves (there are also a lot of doubled notes also).
      If that’s not what you were getting at lemme know 👍🏼

      @@rumbeloworks was thinking that it would be cool if the pads lite up all over the board when you about to do a solo. This would help someone solo who doesn’t know theory or the notes in a key. So someone like me could mess around without learning all that stuff. Yes, it it works like this, I would take advantage of changing the key to the song I’m working on and actually play around with all the lit up keys until I made a melody I liked. Then I would transfer the midi to my DAW and run it on various instruments that have been recorded with mic’s and sound realistic.

    • @rumbeloworks
      @rumbeloworks  4 роки тому

      @@chrishopkin9273 yeah, you could definitely use it like that. It will light up the root note of your key brightest and then light all the other notes in that scale as well. And you can change the scale to different types too (major, minor, Dorian, Lydian, etc.)

    Hi Skylor - hope you are well. How did you get the Deluge to count you in before recording?

    • @rumbeloworks
      @rumbeloworks  5 років тому

      Harrison Tuynman hey thank! It’s the default setting as far as I know. So just press record to arm. Then press play and it counts in. If yours is turned off then I’m not sure how to turn it on, but I imagine it’s somewhere in global settings.

    Great, really like this! The bright accoustic guitar sound gives the song what it needs, some brightness. Personally I would like the bass a little but more punchy. Did you record the accoustic guitar with the internal microphone? I subscribed to your channel, hope to see/hear more of your DeLuge creations.

      Peter Bode thanks so much! Glad you enjoyed it, and thanks for the sub!
      I have the L.R. Bags Anthem pickup in my guitar, and it actually sounds pretty good. So I just plugged straight in to the line input on the Deluge.

      @shogunai from his video description it's clear that what his video title meant to express that he wasn't using a chopped-up sample of a jazz recording or similar for the melodic parts.
