- During the summer it's easy to be dazzled by the colourful blooms it brings. But it's in the midst of winter that you get to appreciate the beauty of evergreen shrubs. They not only look great in the colder months, but they also provide a stunning backdrop for your summer flowers too.

I'm so happy that I commissioned crocus to provide me with a garden design, I'd never have know to pick many several evergreens which are just a delight in winter. Daphne odora scent stops me in my tracks! Thanks Crocus.

@@yalnevatekofreedom5096 I love pollinators and my husband loves his green lawn. Are you referring to the lawn or the fact that I also appreciate evergreen plants? I plant lots of plants and flowers and food in my garden.

I'd love to grow skimmia and magnolia grandiflora, but they need acidic soil to thrive and mine is highly alcaline....

They don't reproduce oxygen nor can bees polinate.
Color is irrelevant.
Oxygen and pollination is critical.
