So many things going on in this match! I love how Red got that last little jab in after biting the dust. He wouldn't leave without flipping off everyone else on the way out. As a long-time Blue fan, I gotta respect that from Red.
Green breaking a record is a proud moment for me. I love the color but in these battles they have a bit of a tendency to be the first one out, a sort of underdog. Seeing them get a win is nice
Those shields were only delaying the inevitable. Green had *490,000+* balls left to shoot after hours of still blasting away. This wasn't yellow surviving for a long time, this was yellow getting executed slowly and painfully, and even got invincibility a millisecond too late right at the end just to add to the mockery.
The best Multiply or Release I've seen of time. [Spoilers] That yellow comeback, which afterwards defeats blue AND red! A bit later, Green shoots 526k, so you do expect a swift victory... But yellow lasted during at least 30 whole minutes alive with literally 5 shields and a 16k shot, while constantly being shot at by green! That was insane... but the out of function happened and put an end to that intense match. I've never seen such an extraordinary comeback from the color that were about to lose during the first 5 minutes!

Green building up that massive combo turned it from a competition of firepower to a game of strategy and survival. Yellow's only advantage was that while green's attack would last functionally forever, green couldn't spin during that time, so only yellow had access to things like invulnerable squares.
i actually think yellow had a chance of winning this if they did not get stunned like that. and even then they were seconds away from pulling off a shield to save themselves at the end there
the delay on effects from the wheel has been annoying for some time now. definitely would have saved yellow if it was instant. anyways, Link takes home the Triforce! this is what it takes for a player to actually acquire the Triforce in a Zelda game.

VVVVV Green started growing, Blue became stronk and took out green, then yellow went super sayan and took out red and blue, then green got 500k balls and started taking out yellow but yellow got defensive and grew again and tried to take out green but then, green continued shooting and finally took out yellow! You could make a movie with this. The war almost comes to an end with yellow wiping out the board, but red's dying breath saves green from annihilation, only for green to come back with the force of a thousand signs, into a grueling battle, green breaks through yellows. Seemingly indestructible shields, and takes the day.

This is why I like multiply or release. I thought I'd seen the craziest rounds, but then I came across this video. A 526k buildup from green, _after_ red died and gave green a shield for a few extra seconds while green got a bad spin and holding out against yellow's rampage for a solid minute. And even after that things were still popping off.
The chance of getting that many marbles just from the multiplier is at or nearly 1 over twice the number of marbles. That's a 1/2 chance to roll a 1, a 1/4 chance to roll a 2 (since half of all 2-rolls will turn into 4-rolls), 1/8 chance to roll a 4, and so on. That makes this a 1 in a million chance of happening.
