Bro same kinda thing happened to me 😂 this one girl was jealous of me for so long she always tried to steal my best friend from me , and on top of that did everything I did . I understand why she did it, high school can be a struggle for a lot kids. She was new and just wanted to stand out but at the same time fit in, people fear being an outcast so much that they will do anything just to be included and not feel invisible. So they imitate others they see or think are doing well to climb the social latter instead of being themselves. in a way I kinda sympathize with her cause I've been there myself, thinking if I act a certain way, dress a certain way, talk this way, then more people would like you cause you remind them of the same personality of the person that is well known or liked. Middle/high school is definitely that awkward life stage were your trying to find a place you feel belong to.

i had people who i felt wanted to be like me. one of my “childhood friends” wanted to do everything i wanted to do, wear the same things as me and it even came down to her liking the same guys i liked. turned out she was just jealous of me because as we got older she would purposely go after any guy she knew i liked and would end up sleeping with them. she had to throw herself at guys for them to talk to her and i never had to do that, they usually liked me anyway. she is one of the reasons why i dont hang with females and dont trust anyone.
