i would disagree, i mean u can feel a song all u like and look like ur having fun but if u aint gna hit anything but the beat and ur not very clean then u shouldnt win. its important to feel the music yeah, but also to perfect technique and not be sloppy, and i think musicality is very important otherwise why even change song if 90% of the time ur only gna use the beat? I think this was a tie actually and overall i would rate hoan as cleaner and more of a beat killer than nelson is, better at this current moment in a battle id say. but nelson is always a treat to watch. still think he walks about too much in each round
How to express feeling without following techniques? Nelson did better than Hoan in this battle, he was so funky but it does not mean that Hoan is an inferior dancer to Nelson. They both are on a different level that you can never reach whatsoever.

If he knows the song then great, but it feels like he dances at the same speed regardless of the song (especially his tutting), which is why he can't beat Kite. It's all preference, but I feel this dude Hoan has a a much better feel for tempo and adjusting his speed. Either way both great. Congrats to Nelson, he definitely deserved it. Still taking names...

I think Hoan had some beef with Nelson and so wasn't concentrated enough, he was throwing too many of his moves, on the first round it went great for hoan, I think he had that round or atleast it was a tie. But on the second round Hoan's dance was not "one" with the song. Hoan says he tries to dance as close as he can with the music but it wasn't like that on the second round. Nelson DID have more feeling and groove and flow on this battle and so it was more fun to watch, more "nice for your eyes" and so he took the battle. Sometimes walking around would be the difference between winning a battle and losing! pepe javier said in the comments he walked to much, walking is part of a battle, you gotta make a presence on the stage. Nelson did that. I love Hoan and admire him, his musicality is crazy and he plays with the beat so well, it just didn't go as well as usual on this battle, and Nelson made it look like a piece of cake and he did it good.
What's the point on Nelson's first and second round? His moves and translation is quite boring and I dont find nothing special. Hoan has more creative moves with skills clearly. Dance contest like this has to be more showing creativity not a feeling...

When he wins against someone more skilled than him, i get very dissatisfied so i express my frustrations on comments :3 I am well aware that dance battle is not about skills but musicality and cool moves so it's cool. :3
