@@Techscrews I'm under the illusion the A1 is supposed to make the sound warmer, have more detail etc etc ! No ? so obviously if it goes between a cd player and the receivers amp isn't it supposed to effect the sound in some way ? plus it has treble and bass controls which would mean I wouldn't have to go into the 'Menu' of the receiver then a 'sub menu' to get to the treble and bass controls to make changes, far more convenient being able to change these instantly with dials without all that faffing around with menu's ! So, having said all that what's the point of getting one if no difference in sound ?
@@Techscrews Ah so you are saying the A1 wouldn't make any difference to the sound of the CD player ! Oh I see, but surely the convenience of dials to change tone would be a big plus for me, it's a real pain having to go through those menus to change any settings, no dials on the receiver to alter any settings apart from the volume 😕

both ways, it's tube preamp also.
Thanks I have been wondering
Happy to help
Greta video, could I connect my Cambridge Audio CD player to the input of the A1 and then to my input on my receiver please ? Thanks.
hi, why not, but why you should do it?

@@Colin623 I would say that in your scenario it is unnecessary.

Will Ampapa 1 work at 230V in Poland?
I am from Latvia, also 230v, works well.
Can use this pre amp with AT-LP60X turntable
of course :)
@@Techscrews thanks
Out of curiosity can I just plug in some speakers and get it to work what amp speakers does it support?
it's pre-amp, there no built in amp
@@Techscrews is there a cheap amp you do recommend?
The reason I ask is because I have 10w 3ohm boombox speakers from my first radio I want to use as back channels
yes, the AIYIMA Upgraded TPA3116 and the ZK-TB21 are amazing for that prices. I try upload the test and reviews videos.
Would it able drive 300ohm 6xx or 600ohm headphone?
Of course.
@@Techscrews Thank you. Coudnt fine any specs anywhere.
A company from Washington do not deserve my money :)
6K4 tube is better than ge5456.
Thanks, i try 🙂
Yuck, I disagree, all the cheap amps come with the nasty $1 Chinese 6K4s. The GE5654s are superior
weak
That not amp, its preamp
