      Thanks for watching. It's not somewhere I'd ever considering going before but it was really nice, so I'm glad we did. Glad you enjoyed it 😊 Mary x

      It made us laugh... We guess it was a gift from a disgruntled yet comic employee lol. It's been a tough year for us, lengthy illness, then my injury... We're getting out there again though. Cheers dude, always appreciate it. Atb James

    Lovely walk both - I thought that. I also thought them folk living near to the sea defense must get a battering sometimes. They were right on top of it. A lot of war history around there. Well, it is the South East coast. Have a great week ahead. Mark

      It was a tiny little wall in front of those houses... I would certainly worry living there.
      Cheers for watching Mark, we realise our production of videos has dropped, nice to know you're still with us. Atb James

      @@BadHairAdventures Yeah, it was small but concrete. Ha ha! Hey, I'm not about big channels and glitz and glam. I like to see you guys. Peace!

    Always nice to hike somewhere new and was that a worm? I remember that camp with Mary's friend and (I think) there may have been a swim too - bet there was no swimming today. Nice beach there mind and quite surprised at how quiet it was. Good to be able to see inside the 12th Century church but shame about the road walk back, I hate road walking, cheers Alan

      Twas a Slow Worm, which is technically a lizard... We googled it, even though I was fairly sure what it was. It's a nice area, pretty poor in areas, like much of the Essex coast, hopefully with staycations on the up it'll be some money into areas like these.
      Road walking is the worst!
      Appreciate you taking the time to check this one out, we appreciate it dude. Atb James

    Lovely walk and scenery. When are you planning the next wild camp outing?

    • @BadHairAdventures
      @BadHairAdventures  3 роки тому +1

      It was a most pleasant day 😁... As to wildcamping, possibly next weekend, maybe further off... we're not sure. 2021 has been a pretty difficult year for us, both sick all through January, I(James) have spent all of February and most of March with MCL/LCL injury(knee ligaments)... which is still healing tbh, hence our near collapse of productions on here. But we'll struggle through. Cheers, Atb James

      @@BadHairAdventures so sorry to hear your health battles James. I hope you and Mary continue to gain strength every new day. We’re moving into much brighter days so hopefully we can all get out more this year. Life is tough sometimes like you said we just press through, but my experience has been after the hardest times come the best times, and we definitely appreciate simple things more 👍

    Down that lane last weekend hunting around for possible future overnight locations lol. The pool near the golf course is a nice spot. Did you have an encounter with a german sheperd near the boats at all?

    • @BadHairAdventures
      @BadHairAdventures  3 роки тому

      No Germans... A bully and a Frenchie on that creek side part, but they were behind the properties fences, so it was all good. Appreciate you watching dude. Atb James

    No mention of the White Hart Pub, or probably one of the best Fish & Chip shops in Essex. Also if you take the tiny ferry over to Brightlingsea make sure you do no miss the last boat back, or you'll have an extra 12 mile walk to get back. Slow worms are numerous ( legless lizards ), but you still need a licence to handle them, but a useful ally in the garden.

      I used to visit the pub as a small child back in the 80's and it had a goat in the garden that would drink Guinness lol... Sadly it was closed this day, as was the chippy... The walk was an Ordinance Survey job and didn't pass either so didn't think to mention them. Appreciate you watching. ATB James
