I read this piece in French, for French class. Loved it so much!! It's even better when you find out that your favourite actor stared as the main character in one of your favourite drama piece.
So relevant to today. Watching horrors unfold before our eyes, with people mouthing trite inanities, afraid to name or resist the “rhinoceros” running down the street. Just as the French were shocked at the "New Order" in 1940s, but learned if they did not resist, they’d be left alone - as long as they weren’t of the despised class.

Oh, gosh, I couldn't imagine it when the critics said he was so funny in this play. (Not that I didn't think he could be funny, I just couldn't imagine it fitting with this particular project.) Of course I see it *now* . . . Why is it every time I think I have a handle on how brilliant of an actor he is I see some fresh evidence that raises the bar even higher?!
