No he didn’t want to lose. But he did not do the job, recruiting wise to get the job done. To not recruit the high school kids in one of the most talented areas in the country is just stupid. Dana has proven he is not a great recruiter, best of luck to him as a coordinator somewhere. Willie will put in the work necessary and I believe make the Coogs successful….. Go Coogs.
UH has no need to go outside of the Houston area as everything he needs is all within two hours. If he can succede in cordoning off Houston the way Howard Schnelinberger and Jimmy Johnson cornered the market from Central Florida down to Miami, Fritz should have success. The talent in the Houston area is vast and plentifull.
Two National championships at Blinn College. He was the best now I hope we can do the same.
Willie is the man!
Great coverage! Thanks for covering the Coogs!
He's a coach who wants to win, you can't ask for anything more.
You think Holgorsen wanted to lose?

Presents a positive image and doesn't look like slob.
Good experience with a desire to achieve.
Do well Mr. Fritz and Go Coogs!
Indeed Go Coogs!
The Coogs are in good hands!

Great interview. Schedule looks like murder so first year should be tough, but long-term, I think he will do well at UH
GO COOGS!!!
