This is something I'm definitely going to have to check out, both the gameplay and the theme seem right up my alley. It's nice to know that the combat isn't strictly parry-based. While I don't mind parrying, I like to have more options than that and experiment with different approaches to handling enemy attacks.
I like it because not only does the action look great, but this simplified build system that opens up a ton of options is exciting and fun to play around with! Definitely didn't expect it to be so much fun and approachable!

Can't believe the Yellow Turban Rebellion was fun again!
I'd say, my only issue in terms of the critical opinion concerning this game is the constant "this game has bad voice acting" and I think that's a bad take.
If you know anything about 3 kingdoms and the people involved in it. And the games they tend to be in You would have also experienced these people's characterizations, in video game format. Specially the western interpretations. And they are portrayed this way. In most cases always has been.
I don't think the voice work is bad at all, I think it's quite good in that. Old Chinese movie kinda way. As it should be.
I seems we have gotten to the point that anything other then sub when it comes something that's not from our country just gets instant hate regardless of its origin just because sub>>>dub. I think it's kinda unfair.
I think they do a excellent job, of bringing back those interpretations in english. It's been a very long time since they have and it's really cool to hear it again.
I'm okay being in the minority in this regard. 🙂
Oh it's just chinese Nioh? the talk around this game could have been that specific for months now, runs like trash on PC but I bet it gets a boost to sales from people thinking its Black Myth: Wukong

There are many reports that the PC version is rather lacking in those aspects.
This video is about the game itself from a design standpoint, not the performance. There are channels like Digital Foundry that are great resources for that specific type of content.
@@DanielSantosAnalysis I think those aspects are relevant for every game review but to each his own.
