Mercado de Mariscos, Cinta Costera. A must see in Panama City

Yes, it's for tourists and LOTS of locals too. A giant fresh fish 🐠 market and an eye 👁️ popping number of fish restaurants, right on the water. Plus it's easy to get to and walkable from Casco Viejo and most of downtown PC near Avenida Balboa.

My wife and I were there in 2019 and did not even discover the farmers market. Dern it!

We were in Panama City in July and enjoyed both the fish market and the produce market. The fruit was great. If you buy from the fish market be careful. The different kinds of fish were good, but we bought crab legs that were bad. We cooked them three hours after buying them and they were spoiled. We had a great time in Panama overall.
