Em is like the originator of rapping 8 bars to start the track, with no drums...then keeping the cadence perfect when the drums come in. It's such a good crescendo pattern, making the suspense rise and fully get you on the drum drop. He is a master at building excitement halfway into a track.

So let me drop some knowledge on you, actually “Go To Sleep” is mainly benzino diss track except DMX who at the time was beefin’ with ja and not benzino so it was kinda everyone going at who they had beef with on the track. I thought Ernest would catch it after the “ja you’ll get it to” line but he was too hyped and lost in the track. Also best diss track of all time. Actually all eminem diss tracks are best of all time but this was a more aggressive “I’m coming to bury you” type of track, its all real emotion cuz its after the couple diss tracks that were the usual stating facts and using opponents weaknesses to destroy them between Em and benzino (like “the sauce” definitely listen if you have not) and it was after Hailie’s name had been thrown around and Em was in crazy rage murder mode and its the best in that type of disses.

I always loved how Obie had a unique "dictionary" kind of rhyme scheme. He wasnt necessarily the greatest rapper, but he knew some unusual words and had some very dope and interesting verses here and there.

6:12 yes, Em is the whole package. Casual listeners dont realize that he is way more than just great bars. Delivery, rhyme scheme, creative sense when putting songs together. His best talents are often overlooked. The song "Kim", to me, is a Mozart like masterpiece in the way the story is being told like an actual story, like a play is being acted out, and you don't even realize he is rhyming it all because the story has you hooked. The emotional delivery, the ability to "act" through sound alone, and paint that picture, is absolutely nuts. He does the same here, with the entire formula...his delivery sounds aggressive and intense, but things like the tone and buildup of the beat all come together with his vocals to form the ultimate theme. I mean, a lot people understand hes a genius, but dont REALLY understand how much of a genius he really is.
