Ara, when you open the trade, do you adjust the stop loss to breakeven or even in profit? Or just wait for 3R target or SL to be hit?
Depends on the trade. Lately I've been moving to BE around 1:2R. Sometimes I just let it run to TP without management though.

Ara, been a follower for awhile. I use your strategy for swing trading because it’s just simple and effective. In the video you mentioned “40-60% win rate” “some quarters are tougher” well I was wondering have you ever tried adjusting TP to a fixed 1:2 or 1:1.5 I mean I know according to the theory it should break the high or low but I’ve seen allot of trades go 1:1.5 or 1:2 before reversing and I’m just curious about the win rate on such.
I've tried this in backtesting. Higher win rate doesn't necessarily equate to higher overall profitability.

Nope, that's a waste of time. I have 7 USD pairs on my watchlist. If I can't figure out the bias for the US dollar from those pairs then I have no business trading.

It's the same as this strategy but on the daily instead. I'm sure I'll make more content about it in the future but I don't force anything. News is something to look forward to with swing trading.

Answered this many times my friend. Swing traders look forward to news because it pushes the trade along faster.

The strategy remains the same, we simplified the entry process using Fibonacci.
Hey Ara. Have you ever had slippage problems with funded engineer? I swing trade very similar to you and I had trades running 50+pips in profit with stops at BE because I was preparing to hold over the weekend. But on Friday market close I got taken out at full stoploss on both trades resulting in a 4% loss which is crazy since my accounts with other firms were still fine.
This only happened on funded engineer so I’m struggling to trust them at all anymore

Is the reason your win rate has decreased is because you've started using the 75% Fib method. Cause I've started using it as well and I'm at break even too after close to 3 months of trading just this strategy / set up.
But I love the simple minimalistic strategy.
Helps reduce number of decisions to be made and hence increase the quality of the less number of decisions we make. I love it
The difference between the 71% and the 75% is very minimal. Anyone and any strategy can incur losing streaks from time to time.
