@PianoFreak THIS is my most favorite Schubert's Impromptu! So so happy now, most of all, Maestro's sensitive interpretation is back on instead of just the Terrifying technical skills! Blue Heron is going to be happy!
@@ChopinFreak I have no words for what this performance meant for me. This interpretation is beyond any super power bracelets, coming straight from his heart!
Let’s all appreciate every piano UA-camr for trying their best to upload actively and realize that they can’t learn, memorize, play it perfectly and edit the recorded video all in one or two days. This is the reason why these type of UA-camrs don’t upload as frequently as other UA-camrs who don’t record videos relating to piano, or other instruments.
Maestro! Welcome back to the BEAUTIFUL Artistry! You're Speaking from your heart to OUR Hearts! My MOST favorite Schubert's Impromptu. Thank YOU, Thank You! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏
@@ggobbler We are getting the biggest and coldest storms in the entire CA. Got 15 minutes worth of hail on our beach 2 days ago! Snow level down to 2000 ft elevation. This is very rare in terms of intensity but our normal rain season is between November and March, We haven't had much rain in the last few years and drought had forced many farmers to abandon their crops but we got plenty of water in the reservoirs and snow packs in the mountains now. Waiting for the BIG earthquake to hit!( It's way past due) 😭 Are you thawing out?! Funny thing is I am getting a LOT of UA-cam ads on Alberta!
Hi! Thanks for uploading, very emotionally performance, honestly!! Can you please play Scriabin Op.42 n.5 or his 5 sonata? It will be interesting af ((:
Schubert shows that you can write music for the piano in the romantic period that doesn't need fingertwisting pyrotechnics a la Schumann, Chopin or Liszt. Okay, granted he simply did not have the technique, his most difficult the Wanderer Fantasy he couldn't play, but it goes to show that even with lesser technical capabilities you can write great piano music.
Hmm, might have to look into Schubert's Impromptu's as my next piece to learn. On a tangent, but if I remember correctly Schubert's life was difficult yet had some high notes. If correct, I see this piece as an almost self-reflection. Great playing as usual! Edit: After research, D935 was composed about a year before Schubert passed.
,.,., 2,732-6h I was recently talking to a friend about how nice Shubert's compositions were and how I loved listening to them. Impeccable performance, keep it up Traum.
Exquisite ! I've always admired your ability in your playing but what l really admire you for is the emotions in the way you caresss the keyboard . I've not heard this piece but instantly recognised it as Schubert . Thankyou Traum .
@@Traumfanblueheron The great thing is that his style of playing is consistent throughout (and an absolute delight, it is), even in these comparatively slower pieces. That would be very hard to get right if half the videos were sped up. But indeed, another fantastic rendition on this channel and for the continued uploads I am eternally grateful.
Hey! Just wanted to say I’m a fan, and also could you attempt “Tombeau de Couperin” by Ravel? It’s a badass piece, although very hard. I would love to see you play it.
Do you take suggestions? How about Mendelssohn "Variations sériueses". A perfect challenge for you, because it needs both great virtuosity and inner musicality. The only convincing recording I have heard so far is by Hephziba Menuhin, the sister of the famous violinist.
Hi Traum, How long did you rest your hand when you had your Liszt injury? I have a Liszt injury and I keep thinking it is better and then I re- injure it.
Traum you have a amazing repertoire and great technical potential! Awesome videos, love u))) PS: Your funereal march was amazing, but u dont have a 1st mov of Chopin s second sonata, thats sad, can u make it?
I'll add my kudos on voicing - EXCELLENT and kind of innovative. It's hard to choose a favorite from among these two sets but this is definitely close to my favorite. I will also say that the mic-ing and audio processing are REALLY good. If you would care to share anything about mics and your tools it would be great.
Thank you for supporting Traum. Maestro has terrifying technical skills but I always find his expression/ interpretations are even more skillful. Maestro truly is an exceptional Concert Pianist.
Traum what happened to your chopsticks video? I like your arrangement of chopsticks a lot. Anyway it's good performance of a good Schubert piece, nice leds too! :)
Ahh, memories. I listened to this piece for a classical music course in third grade. Schubert was always one of my favorites.
