Awesome video, only note was, he doesn't explain what he does so easily :) For my recliner, the part I attach the tip of the s-pin was or what calls 'top hold' at 1:45 was attached to a spring. And it wasn't in position. I had to pull a lever like thing so I can bring the 'top hold' up. 1. I had rotate that part a lot more. Especially that I didn't open the side of my chair. 2. Attach the s-pin to the 'top hold' 3. This is important: Then GENTLY contract (shrinken the expanded spring) with the s-pin attached. If you just let go then the s-pin will jump out of place as soon as the spring of the top-hold is let go. You just want the s-pin to be in a straight line. Your s-pin wire shouldn't be in an L shape or something. It should be in a straight form at the end...
I just replaced my pull cable and handle. Tension is a bit tight. Was wondering if the other hole beside the one where you used (bottom hole) can be used for More slack? Thanks
Super helpful video, short and spot on how to fix it.
Difficult to see exactly what you are doing with camera view from the top. Need clear close up of exactly what you doing.
Thank you so much. I did it myself! Zbest wanted to send someone out for $75 . Thank you Thank you
