Many students go to native speaking countries believing that they could improve their English conversational skill. That might be possible if someone has guts to speak the language, packed with thousands of vocabulary , have good listening skill and loaded with confidence to communicate with foreigner . If the company will be from the same country who are studying , a month or 2 won't be enough to be FLUENT. Just by staying in your own country but always practicing English with be helpful. I met people who just studied in home country but their English was very good as if they have studied abroad.
As he said, he just chill with korean teammates there in England. he supposed to be with different guys(Only if he wants to improve his English skills)
because ielts is graded in different aspects. His fluency is quitw good, less hesitation. Pronunciation is very good. Maybe the area he lacks is accuracy with grammar. This is definitely 6 or even higher but not lower.

일단은..스피킹 시험 자체가 사람이 보고 상대적으로 평가하는거라서 변수가 확실히 많은 부분이 있어요. 그러니까 음...극단적인 케이스로는 컨디션이 좋아서 시험을 아주 잘 봤다고 생각했는데 그날 하필 다른 시험자들이 전부 한 8~9점대의 실력자들이라면....뭔가 약해보일 수 있겠죠. 아무리 정해진 평가 기준이 있다곤 하지만 사람이 하는거다 보니.....건투를 빕니다! 공통적으로는, 밴드4에서 5로 넘어가는데는 일단 단답형을 피하고!! 디테일을 넣으려는 시도가 제일 중요한 것 같아요. 단어나 문장 구조도 완벽하진 않아도 다양한걸 시도하려는 것, 그래서 내가 이걸 완전히 마스터는 하지 못했지만 뭔지 느낌을 알고는 있다!하는 기세를 보여주는게 좋을 것 같아요. 주눅들지 마시구요! 응원합니다.
It's too bad that you didn't understand the question about public holidays. You just gave an example and how you celebrate it. "How many " and giving example are two different things. What special holiday is it? Your listening has a problem. It is always a problem in my class that student give a different answer to a very simple question. No connection to the question. You are studying abroad but your vocabulary is very weak and conversational skill isn't good. I have an 11 years old student but can speak better and can give very good answers about the topics. At 6 or 7 years old could not remember that and China has improved their transportation. Why not give example outside Asia. Why not about England since you can speak more about it since you study there. I won't give 6.0. That is 5.0.
@@pitter6282 I can totally say that she's a filipino. In Philippines, if you can't speak in english or even a basic english, they'll call you as "BOBO" or in english, "Dumb". They'll count every grammatical errors you make and even make you feel dumb about it. They will also use advance english words that sometimes doesn't even make sense if you are just having a simple conversation. I'm not against of using advance english words but having that in a simple conversation just to impress someone? I don't think that would give you an impression of a smart / intelligent person.
