This is the original storyboard animatic that was made for the song "Jenny was an Ankylosaurus" video from Dinostory the Ultimate Dinosaur Rock Opera. Dinosaur Songs by Howdytoons.
I thought it may be interesting for you to see how the process works in making a video about dinosaurs. In this version the intro was taken out but later we decided to put it back in as it was a nice musical section and it built anticipation.

Jenny was an Ankylosaurus

Jenny was an Ankylosaurus.
She liked to eat plants all day.
She's got armour on her back and spikes all around.
With a ball on her tail and she can swing it around.
Jenny didn't like to argue,
Fight or disagree.
Even though she was friendly and nice,
Other dinosaurs were not the same.
They thought that she looked tasty.
They want to eat her up.
They sneak up from behind,
But they're in for a big surprise.
Bang, bang with a swing of her tail,
And she gets away!!
Ankylosaurs really like to flail.
Bang, bang, bang, bang, bang.
Jenny woke up one morning.
And much to her surprise,
She saw a little dinosaur with three tiny horns,
And she looked at Jenny with tears in her eyes and said,
Terri: Would you like to be my friend?
Jenny: Yes, I surely would.
From then on they were quite a team,
Helping each other like they should.
And while the two were grazing,
Something hid behind the trees.
A T-Rex who is hungry,
But he's not gonna get his feast.
Bang, bang with a swing of her tail,
And they get away!!
Ankylosaurs really like to flail.
Bang, bang, bang, bang, bang.
Jenny and the dino named Terri,
Got along so very well.
They went eating all the shrubs and the ferns they could find,
Til their bellies were full and they started to swell.
Terri: Gee, I'm really feeling thirsty.
Jenny: I know just where to go.
Down to the river is the place to be,
You can drink your fill satisfactorily.
So while you are drinking,
Watch out for the crocodile.
If you see one come along,
It's time to give Jenny a call.
Bang, bang with a swing of her tail,
Bang, bang, bang, bang, bang.
Bang, bang with a swing of her tail,
Bang, bang, bang, bang, bang.
Ankylosaurs really like to flail.
Bang, bang, bang, bang, bang.
