The thing I like about this guy is he’s squeezing every drop out of the lifespan he’ll end up with. A busy, productive man indeed. Sure he’s at a somewhat enviable financial position, but, as I recall it’s all earned achievements. There’s some talent that’s a gift from the creator - but after that it’s - you get what he’s got by doing what he’s done. Best wishes to him and his family.
I don't want to buy it yet, and I'm not ready for it. But...owners are building a new house and want to sell. I don't have much of a choice. I'm likely going to get it and AirBnB/VRBO it for a year or so until I have the means to remodel it to OG Spec.

My fear is that I have so much invested in the big house and the driveway is technically on the neighbors property. If he sells it to some goof, I'm in a real tough spot. I'd rather get the house, get it rented to cover the cost, and then tackle making it worthy of Destination OG when I'm ready.

Remember, my father tell me they were either partly owned or licensed by a German company at the time I’m not sure if they still are Labex My dad was an authorized distributor for them when they were trying to get into the market segment nobody wanted them or heard of them. It’s good to see they’re taking off…. they are pretty durable. I’m surprised how many times the forklift drivers messed ours up at the winery so things just keep taking a beating.

Just found a really great wheel & tire cleaner that I feel is a better alternative to brake buster, cleans fantastic, foams awesome in a foam cannon, easy to work with, clings to the wheels and tires and cleaning power is a bit stronger. That garage is beautiful but why do I get the sense the owner never sets foot in there? Those tools as example aren’t going to get touched and someone with that kind of money doesn’t detail his own cars. Hope I’m wrong though because would hate to see that setup go unused

I think RB is okay but some people say that around 90k mile point, the engine needs an overhaul. :( By the way, I recently somehow was amazed by the sound of R8 V10 plus (2013 - 2015) and I think it sounds even better than E92 M3. Have you ever been interested in that 1st Gen R8? They came with the gated manual as well. Just curious on your thoughts.
