We know BabyMetal are best live . Imagine this live the more i listen . The more little things i missed just makes each listen even better . Herman Lee said these singles will not be the best from new album ! Wow what's to come 😁🤘🦊🤘
Good reaction. This is a beautiful song - but it is deep too. From my starting point of almost complete ignorance I have been learning so much from comments under other reactions about Ragnarok and the Norse mythology being referenced and the consensus is there are also many references to the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, even if it is not specifically about those tragic events. The "monochrome firework" could be the bomb and the tree they used in the visuals throughout and that was finally shown in colour at the end could be the Hiroshima Peace Tree that survived the bombing as well as the tree of life from Norse mythology. Three more new songs to look forward to between now and when the album is released in March - and they are playing their first live shows in over a year in January ... as always these songs will be even better live.🤘🦊
Welcome back to BabyMetal's metalverse. Nice to see you're back with this new BM single. You really jamming with this one, cool. They're using the Norse mythology, Yggdrasil is the Tree Of Life as the Aogiri tree, one of the survivor tree in Hiroshima, and the monochrome fireworks altogether along with more references as a metaphor, once you know where SuMetal was born it all makes sense. But instead of endorse negativity she's giving us hope that if a war or any other sad moment (like the recent pandemic) is happening nowadays, the colors will be back.☔☀️🌈 We all know so far that this time they're introducing us to their metalverse with 10 different worlds and songs, and we're gonna see the full picture once the full album is out, probably some more hints with the next singles coming and the live performance next January. OTFGK. These are the credits: *Monochrome* Lyrics : MK-METAL Music & Arrangement : YUPPEMETAL (aka Yuyoyuppe) he's the one behind songs like Karate, Rondo Of Nightmare, Megitsune and Kagerou, he knows his business and totally rocks. Thanks for sharing this and see you next time.🦊🤘🌈
This is BABYMETAL's first song with English subtitles EVER! This song is special for a reason. Monochrome is about the atomic bombs being dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. At 1.04 there is a mushrooms cloud and at 3.06 a city is destroyed by a falling object.
@@BlackArr0w Tyvm for that info! But that just reinforces my point. "The One" was a special song they wrote for their fans worldwide. "Monochrome," to me, is a special song that they wrote for the world about the atomic bombs.
Most fans believe that the lyrics allude to a much deeper meaning than most of Babymetal’s song. The most common theory is that monochrome firework is a reference to Moametal, who was born on the 4th of July (fireworks) and the fact that she freaking loves Oreos (monochrome). Jk
Beautiful song☔🌈✨
Agreed 🦊🤘❣
The drums mixed with Su’s vocals are just out of this world! Oh wait, we are in the Metal Verse…..it all makes sense 😂😂😂❤
😂🤘❣
Babymetal do not usually make a lyric video. This emphasizes and indicates the importance of the lyrics.

Thankyou, that's awesome! Definitely hits harder after knowing the message behind the song. But it was great, can't wait to see them live 🦊🤘❣
Did you see A.J Hartley just released a video about it? I will check it out now
@@BlackArr0w I've got it set up to play, so I'll be watching soon as well.

Thanks! Loved the song and very interesting 🦊🤘❣
I have a feeling they will tell the story between songs at the Makuhari Messe, at least I hope they do, like they did at Legend S
@@chrisharris1522 It'll be awesome, the more the merrier.🦊🤘

Techniccaly, they already put subtitle in the MV for "The One", so this is the second one :)
