What a fantastic find! It always amazes me how these sets survive unused after nearly 50 years…..
Yes it is made how they never get played with.
Thank you for taking the time to watch and comment.
Keep safe and well my friend

Jupiter and 119 were both made by Bachmann and they made newer versions recently. They also still make similar coaches to the one in this set. What an amazing find! Really enjoyed your video.
Thanks Stephen for taking the time to watch and comment.

Strange co-incidence but I picked up a boxed exploding car at a local exhibition lol, love it...
Hi Andy, that is strange. It’s great the things they would make years ago to get the kids interested in the hobby.

Awesome set, it's a shame we don't get sets like this these days as it would really encourage the kids to get involved. Or maybe they only have eyes for mobile phone games. Who knows? I'm too old! lol.
Hi Rick 👍 yes I feel the same “too old: lol. It’s a really nice set and so tempting to have a play with it.
Thank you for taking the time to watch and comment.

That's a superb train set, and in perfect nick too, a great bargain Andy. I have enjoyed watching this update and can hear how much you've enjoyed getting it. WIll you run it or preserve it? That's a tricky question. I'd play with it, says the big kid in me, lol. All the best. Brian @ The Angels
Hi Mate👍 thank you for taking the time to watch and comment. Yea it’s a big decision to play or store.
Keep safe and well my dear friend
Andy
As amazing as it is being mint in box, it almost seems a shame that no kid ever got to play with it
Totally agree 👍
And it’s so tempting to set it all up and have a play.

I thought Airfix made only model kits.
Hi Michael, in the late 70’s they tried to get into the OO gauge
Market as was quite successful for a couple of years but sadly sold it on. Some of the building kits are now made by Dapol and Hornby still use the Mk2d coaches in their range today.
@@MarchWestJunctionTMD I'd figured the 'Airfix' line would go 'Hornby' after they sold it off. Also, As I mentioned earlier, Here in the states, 'Airfix' was only known as model kits that was pretty much it. And, thank you for responding to my comment, With greeting from the USA.
@@michaelquinones-lx6ks no problem and thank you for taking the time to watch and comment.
I’ve attached a link to another video this is the other Adventure set that they did that’s like a James Bond type thing.
