Sandwich Warrior isn't the greatest, but it is a bit of a buzzkill when a deck this strong is found so early on in the meta. I feel like the experimental phase used to pay a little bit longer

Bit random but just wanted to thank you for highlighting this deck. I’ve been mainly a Mage player since I first started playing back in 2016 and it’s always been my goal to hit my first Legend ranking with Mage - thanks to you and this deck today is the day I finally hit Legend :)
I like playing this with the excavate package. Chopped out the fire spell, rolling stone and glacial shard. Gives you more outs in longer matches and a bunch of the excavate rewards end up getting you more elementals anyway, not least the Hawk itself
BTW I played quite a bit of Mage last season because the Sleet card gave me a solid chance to survive stupid broken cards/turns and giving that deck a powerful card liek Lamp definitely puts it over the top.
Good games bro, funny enough I built my first expansion deck earlier and it was elemage! But I had a bunch of legendary elementals lying around so tried to jam those. I had no idea elemage was actually competitive hahaha Guess I should put lamplighters in my deck…
I played mage back in 2017, since monored fucked un mtga, I decided to try HD and it was very pleasant to craft this deck, no crazy expensive card, easy to play. And it's mage, my favorite class ❤

However, the good thing about this elemental mage deck is it is really budget friendly - it consists of commons and rares, some of them even from core set (which you jave access to automatically).
It's clear... that I fucking suck at this game. I'm playing against handbuff paladins and angry as fuck taunt warriors. Lol...this is the most I've ever played ranked in Hearthstone and I'm getting pummeled. I am loving Rainbow handbuff Death Knight though.
PLayed against this deck not so long ago... so boring. That lamp lighter "combo" is ridiculous. I love how they make a card like that after the hunter's Shock spitter card being very problematic at the time, or really any unavoidable and scaling damage. Makes games boring and frustrating
I played versus lamplighter first game and made me logout no need to play a game that completely removes the opponent.OTK is the absolute worst idea in a game that does not allow player interaction on opponents turn. Hard to believe a game design is worse than the way over done mana cheat concept.I have no want to play this game right now because my opponeent can just auto win one turn wasting al my time for several turns.
Its obnoxious how boring and consistent these decks are too. If it isn't this it's losing to the insane charge package they have DH or losing t5 to unkiliax warrior.

mage elemental was the deck I focused on opening and crafting last season, it’s a pleasant surprise to only need to add a few commons I already have!

These elemental decks are definitely not faster than the original Shocksplitter decks.

I played elemental mage all throughout Whizbang and it was great even before lamplighter! A hidden gem for sure but also had some tough counters

I guarantee the card the DH held was parched desperado. It wasn't active because he didn't cast a spell and he wanted the attack damage.
I understand now why i have face that deck all day long. I have crush it with incidius shaman, not even a challenge.
