    Thank you so much for this fantastic video.
    I'm getting a Hyundai Tucson after having owned a very old car.... A 2004 Vauxhall Meriva and need all the information I can get regarding buttons, before collecting my car 🙏👏👍

    Hi man! I have had my Kona Electric Style 64kWh for two weeks now and I believed that I know everything. That was not true. Your explanation helped me in few things. Especially the charging auto/unlock button feature was very useful for me because now I can keep the cable locked until I unlock my Kona and the cable can't be stolen (at least so easily). Thank you very much for your explanation.

    it's actually much better to have physical buttons instead of a fucking screen where you go deep in the UI to find the brakes

    I’m slightly senile, did you already do a walkthrough under the hood in previous videos? That might be useful if not. Some NA models don’t have a heat pump, it’d probably be interesting to show people where it is (all the way on the left, if i’m not mistaken).

      The heatpump is somwhere underneath. No idea where.
      It works the same way as every heatpump.

    The thing you pointed to in the middle console while describing the phone controls quite likely isn’t the microphone, but the climate sensor.

    • @MrBijujames
      @MrBijujames 3 роки тому

      I agree, what he showed was the sensor for the inside temperature. The microphone is usually on the top somewhere above the driver.

    At minute 18:08 your descripion of the button does NOT work like that in my 2019 Kona electirc Ultimate. It only operates while going in REVERSE, I do not see anything on my dash or beeping when in DRIVEFrom what I see, . the button simply shuts the sound on/off when backing up.

    • @ianmurray250

      Works as video says on mine, Rear parking sensor on when you select reverse, but press this button to select front parking sensor, dashboard displays 3 front, & 3 rear segments that light up and beep when object detected, and beep more as you get closer. NB when reverse selected infotainment screen becomes camera screen too.

    ??? Does anyone know the exact trim level of this KONA in this review? on this other video:
    ua-cam.com/video/zzBzdVBZz-8/v-deo.html
    That blind spot plex-glass pop up display type device at minute 10:15 is the coolest safety feature I've ever seen, but is that
    standard on the limited model, or only available on the ultimate trim ?
    ua-cam.com/video/zzBzdVBZz-8/v-deo.html
    (it's shown only very briefly at minute 10:15)

    Tesla model 3 is now being priced at 35k dollars or 26k pounds before grants, Hyundai has a bit of explaining to do. That would mean in Ireland the model 3 if available will retail for 20k after grants.

    • @BatteryLife
      @BatteryLife  5 років тому +2

      Here in the Germany the cheapest Model 3 will still be around the price of the Minimum Kona with the big battery.
      So for the same price you get more features and range in the Kona.
      But the tesla charging infrastructure is unbeatable.

      Base model 3 with less range, or top spec Kona with better range, and a more practical boot... Kona wins !!!
      However, its so different from a Model 3, appeals to a different market, its all about giving potential EV owners more choice, in a vehicle which suits them. We should be pushing people away from ICE, into EVs, whichever car they choose, rather than this EV is better than that EV
