I'm playing the first three entries for the 1st time in my life and the music is one of their biggest highlights. After going trough several levels in the solitude and quietness of the bottom of the ocean, this track hits really hard, such an amazing experience.

Few covers of this song can stay true to the original and give a more modern twist and added thrills. This is one of them. The ending was begging to take it further with a bass drop or I don't know how you call that. x)
HAHA omg xD Well, I don't know what to think about Suite version.. It just feels off because the beat and the bass are not dominant... I know it's the matter of taste but iconic stuff from Skidoo are just not there :/
@@DeanKopri I'm glad someone else noticed that. I loved the original Skidoo, but the Suite version was weirdly quiet and the beat practically vanishes half way through. This was so much better.
@@ArdinVincent I mean I think he had a guitar or two involved but otherwise it was a pretty small orchestra. The sounds produced by the JV-1080 originally were so iconic and just present in the mix. I have the successor of that synth, the XV-5080 and all of those old Tomb Raider patches just cut through the mix and fit in perfect out of the box. Beautiful stuff. But yeah, definitely needed some nice synthetic character for the suite.
