This is an absolutely fantastic video. Thank you for taking the time to produce it and being so generous and transparent with the knowledge that you're sharing. 10/10
Thank you very much, Jonathan! Indeed, that course has been made 3 years ago, but the details and information that you get from it is still up to date and relevant to the Scraping niche. Good day!
Salut Fabian! Presupun ca esti roman dupa recomandarile de pe UA-cam :)) Vreau si eu sa ma apuc de facut tutoriale pe udemy. Crezi ca mai merita? Iar din punct de vedere legal trebuie sa platim ceva taxe la stat?
Hey, yes, I'm Romanian (will post in english so that everyone can understand). That depends on what course you want to create. If there is a niche for that and its not that crowded, it might be worth it. Keep in mind that you also need to invest in some decent equipment for recording and put the time and energy to create a good and quality course. Also, yes, you would definitely have to pay taxes on all your income that you get from Udemy as well. Cheers!
You should write web scrapper that scrap all the reviews and then check what are the more popular words to know what students think about your course :D
Thank you for the video - great content. Does the USD 8.4k shown as total revenue depict what Udemy paid to you? Or the total revenue generated from which you receive the share you've spoken of?
Thanks for sharing the video.I am a new Beginner I want to launch a new course .I am confused which Platform should I use to start selling courses. Please suggest
That would be the average, yes. Some sales can even bring lower than $1-2 because the price depends on the country it is sold in, thats how Udemy works, unfortunately.
I like when people are transparent and not just saying things for some views.
Love your direct approach to just show the numbers.
Thank you, Vivek! Figured that it is the most important part and people who want more details, will stay until the end 🙌

Great video, I was hoping to find a new video about Udemy earnings and this one completely answered my questions. Thank you
Im glad you enjoyed it and that it answered your questions!
Almost done your course Fabian and I would say the same thing.... perfect except for the font size and lack of recent updates.

Thanks for sharing, this is a great insight! :)
How can you get the cash from your sales? Where do udemy transfer your money? Or stored to its udemy website?
Udemy sends the money via Paypal, not sure if they have other methods available now as I haven't been active anymore on Udemy.
@@simplyfabian thanks for the reply. Thats expensive because paypal has a cut
@@riccia888 Every platform has their own cut, it's just the way the world works.
@@simplyfabian thats true
Thank you so much for being so transparent 👍🤟
One Question...Is it necessary to sell the course for free at start..on udemy?
yes, if you want to reach your customers and your customers would get to know about you
No, if your course is good and demand, it will start selling from day 1.
Thank u brooo I love u bro
Am I the only one who thinks that Fabian sounds like Davie504?
They only paid you $4 per student? Seems kind of low. Were you OK with that?
That would be the average, yes. Some sales can even bring lower than $1-2 because the price depends on the country it is sold in, thats how Udemy works, unfortunately.
Last night I was reading about this topic and according to their research udemy pays 4.25 dollars on average per student.
yes, these days it is even lesser, like $3 per student. Udemy takes away 63% of the share as of Feb 2022.
8 k from one course ?
Yep!
@@simplyfabian great job 👍
Man you chose all courses !!! Are you serious and you kept taking as if this income was all for one course ??
Yes. It is income for one course :) its the only course I’ve ever launched.
