really glad you showed the process. I didn't know the transfer case was right there lol. I will be interested in seeing how you remedy the rust. That would scare me out of buying one thinking it would be such a headache.
Hey, Great video. Can't believe im just finding your channel now. I've recently purchased a 1986 110 as well, except mine is in a much worse state. Can't wait to get stuck into it.
I missed this somehow. It really does look like a good base vehicle for the price, with typical old working vehicle issues. Love the old cassette player.
A very timely video. I may well need to strip my dashboard out as I seem to have a leak that is causing the same corrosion you have in the bulkhead. Any idea what the cause is? I could do with fixing that as well!
@@FirestarterAJ12 You must be very new to landy ownership 😅 The leak could be in many places because the water tends to run towards the bulkhead. It could be anywhere on the roof because it runs down the inside. It could be the perpendicular seam in the middle, the seals of the alpine windows. It can even be the rivets at the back of the roof. It can be where the A pillar meets the roof/windshield frame. The seal between the windshield frame and the bulkhead. The seal where the roof meets the windshield frame, the windshield glass seal, the windshield support bracket seals, the vent seals, the door "seals". The door hinge seals, mirror seals, door glass seals, bonnet hinge seals. Anything mounted to the bulkhead in the engine bay seal, like the blower seal, windshield wipers?? window pisser?? leopard seal? navy seal? Even playing kiss from a rose - Seal on the stereo is dicey.

The cause is mostly rain mate.🙂
@@ElmerJFudd-oi9kj Hahaha I got that much 😛 I'm trying to find out if it is the window seals, the door tops or the vents that are likely the cause

Hi, have I missed some videos? Isn’t this the same 110 as you brought at the start of the channel?
Nah.
No this is our latest project, an earlier 110. Same colour!
Thanks, never like to miss a video. I’ve a D3 and you have help with all my fixes.👍
