Hi Byrd, thanks so much for this, I'm learning a lot. I have just bought my first Cricut - the Maker, I see it only has one pen holder. I see you changing the colour, but would I be correct in that this is merely to assist you visualising the cardstock you'd be using?

Congrats on your new Cricut Maker machine! 🎉 Yes, I changed the color of the text "hello" so, if for example, I was cutting multiple pieces of cardstock or vinyl, I could differentiate what text or graphic needs to be cut in each specific color.
My design space no longer recognizes my maker keeps saying change machine
Hi Kathy,
You may need to uninstall your Cricut app and install it back on your device. Or you can try closing the app first and then opening it back up. Be sure to save your project first.
