I have a Model 3 Standard Range Plus and even just having a cargo carrier on the back of my car hurts my range! I also drive fast though, that also does not help. Drafting trucks does though, when they do not mind!
EV towing is fine as long as it's done locally. I bought my lightning to replace my 2014 F150 and my 2018 prius. And use it locally and only charge at home. Replaces those 2 vehicles in every way and outperforms them both in every way imaginable.
Well the idea was to take it to a piece of property I was going to by... 60 kWh of portable... Livable storage... It came in too heavy so, yes it is portable storage... Not suitable for road trips in general but check back to see Solar Trailer V2 underway right now!
That would definitely be ideal, but it's probably a safety thing on the Tesla itself. I think the internals disable charging while in use, though I could be mistaken
We you able to measure the tongue weight? All that weight being in the nose of the trailer vs over the axel. I know you have the bike in there but wondering if the weight disto in the trailer is causing issues.

Crazy ? why couldn't you hook up to trailer to the car. and drive while charging. to increase range.

I actually moved the 60 kWh from the nose to, just over the axel.... I need to re-test
