Smart spreader Gareth. I would love the border deflector on our KRM instead of having to reverse the gearbox for the headlands, would make spreading so much easier and quicker. The KRM I would say is quite easy to set up compared to the amazone box but as you say, each to their own
I spoke with a guy that tests spreaders and he said that the KRM is the best built on the market, just takes a while to get used to setting it up, like most of them I suppose once you're familiar each make is easy.

great spreader. I think I'll stick with my simply way 😂 of spreading fertilizer, with a fertilizer bag wrapped around the fence pole.👌🌱🚜 theirs no GPS or boxes in our yard.
Cotlandfarmer Cheers. The one i'm looking at has no suspension apparentley. Thats the only thing that scares me is will it be a uncomfortable ride?? Suffer with my back and neck. Cheers

Nice spreader but do ypu really need something as technical as that for grass ground surely a vicon vari spreader would do the same job for less than half the money?

Farmer David compleaty agree with the krm for the headland it is a faf! Apart from that I think it is a top spreader!

Why dont you use the gps on the spreader? Auto spread aswell so you dont have to turn her off and on
I would need to upgrade the antenna of my GPS, I am considering the upgrade. 👍

I couldn't fert or spray without GPS these days. Lost my skill in judging bout width.

Ask if it's had the mod on the jets that cool the breaks, check the cab suspension (if fitted) air bags and shock absorbers are in good order.

Yes there is a app, but the fert I bought isn't in it.
It because I'm a cheap skate and bought cheap blended fert.
Cotlandfarmer we have a Kuhn and it has an app and the company we use for fertiliser isn’t on it but we found an equal equivalent

A mavic Pro, so far I'm pleased with it.
Have you put weight on the front or is she light lol
Always got the set of weights on front, she gets a bit twitchy with a full load on. 😲
Does it have variable rate?
If linked to GPS I think it is possible to vary the application rate according to field map.

I'm hoping that with the greater accuracy of the technical spreader I'll save fert. Vicon wag tales sell for crazy money on sales down here!
Those Amazone spreaders take some beating.
Kuhn and krm are stronger built but expensive, I think the amazone is good value, this new one is better built than the one it replaced.
Kuhn are brilliant bits of kit, KRM are just complex. The Amazones are very accurate for the cost.
