I can imagine how simultaneously amazing and stressful that must be. I’m currently going into my senior year of high school while trying to juggle coaching a jv colorguard team three nights a week while creating my AP studio art portfolio that needs to get me enough scholarship money for college (not to mention capstone, a part time job, presidenting my school’s art club, and also captaining my own varsity colorguard team). I know it’s not the same as being a ‘public figure’ but I do feel the pressure of having to be a role model for them. It’s bizarre. In your head you are just another human being working your hardest to be the absolute best you can be, but it’s almost like people put you on a pedestal or hold you to a different standard because you now have this influence. This is 100% a grey area. Should you use the power you’ve gained in some sort of positive way? Or are you the same person you’ve always been with just a couple more people watching? I hope you remember you’re allowed to exist for more than 2.8 seconds a day. I sympathize with the fact that the content you’re passionate about doesn’t seem to get the response you want. It’s unfair, but in today’s society, ESPECIALLY big social media, quantity trumps quality any day. If you listen to any UA-camr giving tips on how to start a channel, it’s always “post regularly”. You see it again and again with countless amazing writers and filmmakers not being able to keep up with hypebeasts and the unrelenting algorithm they follow. I will say this channel, however much time you put into it, has quickly become my light. I listen to it while I’m painting sometimes alongside multiple podcasts. There’s a type of introspection here that you literally can’t get anywhere else on this site. UA-cam isn’t a community anymore but rather cliques with their own drama and storylines that feel majorly disingenuous. Slap gives a view of the world outside of the Internet. It’s reminiscent of early youtube and I adore it. Please keep creating but also try and take a moment to be proud of what you already have accomplished. You’re incredibly talented and an artist in your own right.
This video really hit me hard tonight. I’ve felt myself becoming attached to my social media and friends online and I’ve been distancing myself from the people around me. Obviously it’s not the same thing seeing as you get money online and work online and have much more of a distraction but it’s interesting to hear you talk about it. I don’t normally comment on videos but this video was a wake up call that I need to start limiting my time online. It’s put a strain on my mental health and I hadn’t even realize that until I listened to you talk about it. I don’t really know why I’m commenting I just felt the need to.

Being honest I 1. Prefer spoken material cuz I'm also busy as fuk 2. Have insane amounts of trouble communicating with anyone with work, college, etc. 3. Find this account specifically just super organic and refreshing to hear, it's good to know that people I watch are actually, ironically, people and it helps me know that we're all going to be able to get through it and end up doing/being something we enjoy in the long run. I was wondering if anything like this might've been happening when I noticed you were streaming so much. I mean, it's been like, almost every day, sometimes twice a day. Please don't let the streams affect your personal life (if they are). They've all been super great, and being able to watch you and interact with you so much has been amazing, but I don't want them to hurt ya. I'm sure that everyone who tunes in, myself included, would be totally fine with a cutback in streaming, if not happy knowing that it's benefiting you. I'm not trying to control your life or anything, and I don't wanna come off like that, but just remember that it isn't your absolute number one duty to put out content for us. I see other streamers/youtubers go through what you're going through more than I probably should, and it's disheartening to see it happen so much, especially to you. But I'll leave it at that. Just know that whatever you do, we love ya.
As for your viewership influx, well, I don't really know what to say... UA-cam is weird, and of course video topic is always a part of it, but I don't really know if there's much that can be done about it. As for myself, I loved both videos, along with all of the wonderful content you put out. I notice in a lot of UA-camrs and streamers that they have a small community that they can rely on and know will always be there. I know we've got a little bit of a community, and maybe it's bigger than I think, but I think having that community is really important. I'd say this channel is a pretty good gauge of how big your community is. Most of the people who are subbed, viewing, commenting are likely the ones that will support you always. Both the one-time viewers and the regulars are important, but know that some of us are here for more than just the streams, the videos, whatever. So yeah, keep doing what you love. Some'll make it big, some'll be a bust, but always there will be the ever-loyal few.

I would say maybe you should only do internet stuff 3 days out of the week (or even 4) don’t make streaming a chore try to make it fun instead, because i know how easy it is to take something fun and COMPLETELY make it a competition or a “job” so take it easy my guy.... also you could also do chill streams every once and awhile were you specifically say your going to be chill (some people wont be happy at first but they may really grow to like those streams.... idk its what i would do if i streamed but hey, everyone is different :)
How about having a circle of people moderate your discord or twitch streams? If it's becoming overwhelming to manage all of it, then find people you have faith in to help you.

So I just found your channel today through Carson and I've only watched him since like 2 days ago, but I'm already subbed to both this channel and your primary channel now. Been watching your videos for about 3 hours and they are genuinely entertaining.
I do prefer the videos you put more work into but I know that opinion is rare nowadays. It does suck what and how things become popular, I personally wouldn't worry about that, but you do what you want to do. Above all else do what makes you successful or happy, it is quite hard to do both. From what I have seen so far you are an amazing dude and I hope wherever you end up treats you well.

I’m not really in a position to say anything as I’m quite young but my piano teacher told me that it always seems as we’re at the hardest part of our life nearly no matter what but you’ve got to use that to push further and keep going, and in my case play better but most Importantly don’t give up in life and it’s ok to feel down as long as your trying. So with that all I want to say is that I (and so many others) support you, don’t feel pressured to do anything, nothing but love here. (Plays stal) 😉

You definitely work your hardest and some people don’t know that but those who do care a lot. You must be struggling more than I can imagine and I hope that things can give you an easier time. You’ve got some relationships you wanna keep and I hope that all goes well. Your channel can definitely struggle at points, but your fans will still watch your videos. I can’t end these too well, but we don’t wanna see you in a horrible state.

I would say maybe you should only do internet stuff 3 days out of the week (or even 4) don’t make streaming a chore try to make it fun instead, because i know how easy it is to take something fun and COMPLETELY make it a competition or a “job” so take it easy my guy.... also you could also do chill streams every once and awhile were you specifically say your going to be chill (some people wont be happy at first but they may really grow to like those streams.... idk its what i would do if i streamed but hey, everyone is different :)

guys before I watch the video what happened on March 17th 2019 that deterred him from making a COD video because of a, presumably, shooting?
How about having a circle of people moderate your discord or twitch streams? If it's becoming overwhelming to manage all of it, then find people you have faith in to help you.
