    This is AWESOME, Henry Coe is a NorCal gem. Thanks for putting out this video, you've successfully motivated myself and other lucky viewers...I need to get down to the South Bay and ride this fabulous place.. Love how you're a total Nature Junkie on wheels, it's impossible to overstate the endless beauty by bike: "If John Muir could have, he would'a pedaled the West on sweet singletrack".

      Thanks, man! That really means a lot. You absolutely need to get down to Coe - it is my Walden Pond. If you ever want route suggestions, hit me up!

    That’s the fun thing about bike packing it’s never the same and your always moving kit around and deciding on better ways to carry …i’ve that same snow peak mug! ☺️👍🏻

      Yup! I'm always trying a new way of packing stuff every time I go!
      I love that mug - I recently upgraded to the 700 version that comes with the lid - I think it should more easily fit a canister inside it too.

    Looking forward to more videos like this. I like that you incorporated the maps of trails into the footages.

      It is such an incredible park - my all time favorite! If you're ever in the SF Bay Area, you should 100% check it out for a ride or a hike!

    Amazing scenery, well jealous.
    We have plenty of gates and fences in the UK. The amount of times I've had to unpack my bike and then lift it over a fence or gate,
    Will be my 3rd bikepacking trip this year.
    Being out alone for a couple of days.

    Just discovered your channel. Great looking bike and nice set up. Looks a fabulous place to ride too. Nice camera work, keeps me inspired form my small amateur fat bike channel. I know your pain with the camera work. Put camera down, ride away, ride back past, go back and get camera etc. 🤣🤣. Looking forward to more of your adventures. Keep up the great work.

      Thank you for watching! Yeah, hopefully people can see why this park is my absolute favorite place to be. Just so peaceful, serene, and wonderfully quiet. Thanks again!

    First :] I'm gonna watch this while bleeding my brakes and installing my dropper post :D

      If you have the same luck as I do with brake bleeds, you'll need to watch it twice! :D Thank you for watching, hope you enjoyed it!

    Already loving the vibe in the first minutes.
    Regarding your camera setup pondering, you want to look for something like quick release mounts and plates. Arca swiss if I remember the name correctly, is quite popular. 😄

    Stumbled across your channel. Henry Coe Park is fun. I am used to riding a bit faster through there as well. I feel ya. Is your Timberjack aluminum or TI? Any idea how much your bike weigh's with all your gear? Bike components? Hope you enjoyed your overnighter as much as I enjoyed watching. Thanks for taking us along!!

      @UmunhumCycleworks  4 місяці тому

      Thank you for the comment! This is an aluminum TJ. Weight depends on how much stuff I'm carrying - the most I got it to was about 50 pounds (slow as hell that day haha) when I brought my packraft, fishing gear, camping gear, and camera gear lol.

    Looks awesome. I'm also hoping to take a stab at an overnight - but on a gravel bike. Is Coe gravel bike appropriate too? Your route looked like it had challenging sections.

    • @UmunhumCycleworks
      @UmunhumCycleworks  7 місяців тому +1

      Hey! Definitely doable on a gravel bike if you pick your route properly - also helps to have a mullet setup with big MTB gears on the gravel bike. Is there a specific location in Coe you want to go to? I can make a gravel friendly route for you.

      @@UmunhumCycleworks That would be awesome. At this stage, this is probably a fantasy for me, but if you have any recs I would take them. I don't know Coe at all so its all new to me (live near Berkeley so I know the northern EBRPD and Marin stuff much better)

    Hey man great ride! Love Henry Coe, but never bike packed there. Do you have a route for this?

    • @UmunhumCycleworks
      @UmunhumCycleworks  7 місяців тому +1

      Hey! Yeah, for sure - I can share it with you on Strava if that's ok with you?
      Coe is beautiful - once this crappy weather is over, I'm definitely heading out to shoot another video!

    Great video! How did you make the effect around 6:50 showing the trail animation and where you are??

    • @UmunhumCycleworks
      @UmunhumCycleworks  6 місяців тому +1

      Thank you! I did it on After Effects - traced a map of my route with a line, then duplicated it, increased the line width a bit, turned it into a trim path, and then animated it.
