One of the MANY reasons things burn to the ground in South Africa before emergency services actually get to the scene. This and the fact that road users don't get out of the way for emergency vehicles, and the area I live in, not having a fire department any more (just put it down to bad management and government corruption 🤷🏼♂️)
LOL! I can understand a little Dutch, but used google to check if I translated correctly. (I'm Swedish) Google translation into Swedish. (back to english) "Is there no ac in the TRASHCAN? The bad driver was sweating!" ;)
Honestly, I think it would degrade to much over time: AC units only work up to a certain point due to their inner workings and need a while in order to cool reasonably well, upon reaching your end destination, they are better off switched off about 5 minutes prior to reaching your destination in order for the system to cool down and, at a different part heat back up with some help of the remaining circulation. This also comes next to the fact that them arriving at a destination with AC on gives you a slap in the face if it's actually hot outside, which is not good for your health. Given that most trips are usually short, the system would be up to max cooling capacity basically right before they arrive, it would be useless.
🤣🤣 Just be greatful you actually have a fire truck in your area, unlike S.A. Where one of the biggest areas near OR Tambo airport relies on an area 30km away for such services. Dit is nog geen 300m van kazerne Mijnsherenlaan. Waarom moesten jullie komen?
Can anyone explain to me why does the siren frequency keep changing ?
In the netherlands they have a accelerator siren and a normal siren instead of the yelp and the wail, the button to change the siren is on the steering wheel.
I remember when the UK fire service had two tone sirens back in the 90's
The corruption lvl in my country is that high that some people hire ambulances as taxis just to go faster from point A to B.
