I love how easy and simple he is.
Love love love the man! What a great teacher! I am able to understand exactly what he is talking about. They way he explains and uses visuals REALLY does the job! We all learn different and have different learning styles, so by him showing us in different ways really helps! Btw I am a visual learner, and if he didn’t draw it out or show pictures I wouldn’t get it! Thank you Dr. Miami 🥰
I’m so grateful for your channel!
Explaining and teaching us all is so helpful when looking to get the BBL surgery done
Dr William, you are a born teacher! Probably a world class plastic surgeon also. Thank you so much.
I enjoy teaching and the origin of the word 'doctor' in Latin means 'to teach'.
I’m glad you made a video of this because I’m bout to see my physician in regards to a lump that I felt in my buttocks. You should do more videos of other complications that people can face.
Same here hun. I have a lump on my left cheek also but it has gotten smaller but now I have one higher up on the same cheek ugh.
I'm glad you liked it, we will keep doing more videos in all aspects of the surgery.
@@kadenelg9265 I have one on my left cheek too. Its a little painful when pressed on. Glad to hear its getting smaller
Wish I could give this video a million thumbs up..this information is SO important and I've never heard anyone explain it. Thank you! Because of this video, IF the ever happens to me I will be prepared and not panic. ❤
Thanks for GIVING me my confidence back Dad 🤣 I'm 3 weeks post op and as I told u when I met u you're my new dad.. Thank you... Thank you... You're the best 😘
I’m a nurse and this was very informative thanks for sharing your knowledge ❤️ I felt like I was in a real live lecture 😆❤️
Thanks so much for this video!! Another analogy is for them to think of fat grafting just like a hair transplant. You move hair from one area to another and initially the hair that's transported starts to die but after a month or so the follicle that remains that has the blood supply starts to grow and the hair starts to come back. It's kinda the same scenario as well. Thanks for these informative videos!! See you in Feb.!! -Joy-
This is literally the first thing I’ve heard to make me reconsider my bbl surgery 🥺
Yes..😏 I had my bbl 1 year ago and my fat didn't survive so it doesn't look like if I did something bye bye💸💸
pumkintay I’m 3 months post opp. I think I have this issue right now. As he said only time can tell. The surgery is only half of it. Wish you the best & take care of yourself.
Thank you for this incredibly informative video series, I am learning much more about this than I ever thought I would! I will definitely share all of the information I learned from you with others and my surgeon when the day arrives. Have a fantastic Thanksgiving!
I like to really research procedures. And out of all the videos over the years- you are very good, clear, and just seem very authentic. I would take your class whatever it is. Sign me up. Sold.
You’re awesome no one is explaining these issue the way you are! These are things everyone should no prior to having surgery. Thank you for educating us this is great! Could you do a seroma video or are they one in the same? I know a young lady who’s had one and she had a very visible “knot” and she had to have it drained and it left her “disfigured” she went to have it repaired more fat was place on top of the existing area and it look worst
The way he's explained is good for the people who want to get this done ✔👏👌
Thank you for this video. I had a bbl 8 years ago, had a fat necrosis about 6 months after about the size of a golf ball on my left side that I had removed because I couldn't lay on that side it caused alot of discomfort.
Now I've discovered another one (about 5 months ago) feels the size of a ping pong ball and its putting pressure on my sciatic nerve. I'm having trouble finding a surgeon to remove it, my original PS won't even return my calls 😞 Ladies its not worth it.
Wow, I've heard so many issues with BBL's but thats the first I've heard of that happening.
I have one too. It’s about the size of a golf ball. It’s very painful. Did you have an open wound after they removed yours? Or was it stitched closed after it was removed?
I don't get why there's not a lot reporting some seriously pain outcomes years later
Did you ever get the 2nd lump removed? I’m in the same situation.
Goodmorning...I follow you all the time. I learned about you after my BBL done in Chicago by a well known DERMATOLOGISTS TURNED BBL SPECIALIST.
Your work is like an Artist. The education provided is Priceless!
Thank you.
I wish were closer I would have a redo for the front hip experience...
I'm at week 3 and this just started to happen crying non stop devastated
It's ok. It will heal. It's difficult to go through and will take a lot of patience.

Very thankful for this video, it made me not stress as much over a lil bump I noticed
May you shed some light on scarring? How will scars effect keloid skin ?
Good Work and explanation. Probably the more informal info out there.
What about someone like me who has never had BBL but has very painful necrosis that does not make its way out from the subcutaneous area other than staying superficial for over a decade. It hits the L5 L6 nerves when sitting and causing extreme pain. I think it is a relay from a "Back Mouse/Mice" Basically have had my left side only, either necrosis/lipomas that happen only when I sit. Palpitating it, you can feel it starting at SI joint and near piriformis and TFL and Troc Notch. I've had quite a few docs do some discovery operations, thinking it was a hernia because of my referred pain.
Anywho, You def have a knack of understanding and explaining. I appreciate it all.

I was so excited to have work done by him but these ppl are making it hard to feel
Comfortable. My surgery is 10 days away and I literally have yet to
Ever speak to one person that works there or get clear communication or a complete answer to any question I’ve ever asked . I’m scared
hey hun, so sorry about your situation. I am sure that when you land you will get all the information needed. Just focus on remaining calm and preparing adequately for after surgery. Lemme know how the bbl goes
Thank you soo much for explaining this. I have a couple of lumps now I know what they are
If you leave the necrosis to manage it self will it ooze out of the skin or does it remain as a lump then gradually go down?
No go to the doctor if its small they give you a pill just get your massages
I have a new sore spot looks like fat necrosis your video was so helpful !!
Excellent Dr. Williams as usual very informative and realistic
Hi I was wondering if losing weight will help shrink the necrosis even tho it is dead? Or what are you thoughts on cupping and bringing the blood back to the breast?

I'm literally crying as I see this video. I have superficial fat necrosis. It opened about a week ago, started leaking tons of fluid. I am on antibiotics and it still drains. Doctor, please answer what if i have painfull huge hard superficially fat necrosis for 3 years! And it doesn't go away at all!!! Now what? Wait more? Or excision?
Question so how long after the fat is harvested and injected does it have before it starts to die off? And are there any practices that one can do to increase the life span of those adipose cells in one area to increase its chances of survival?
I would’ve like to know the answer to this question too but it seems like they don’t answer questions here so forget about waiting for a response.
I wonder why he has so many bad reviews. Seems very knowledgeable.
In many cases the patient will be at fault or has a completely different expectation after surgery but will want to blame the surgeon of their surgery recovery time or results. Very unfair to the professional who knows what’s better for you then the patient on the table.
@@macuna989 thats true. Many complaints refer to customer service and non return of $.
He gives natural results and some people with body dysphoria and extreme insecurities aren’t happy with that.

You can do more than one round if you have enough fat or if you gain enough

Hi can you do a video giving more information on getting a bbl with having the sickle cell trait. There’s really no information about the risk, if recovery will be more intense and what is a good hemaglobin level to have before surgery, or anything’s you can do before and after surgery.
Trait here and recovery was fine. Its when you have the actual Sickle Cell when there may be concerns about recovery/healing

DR.WILLIAM YOUR THE BEST 💯
THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU DO FOR ALL YOUR DOLLS🥂

Please everyone his comment saying “fat necrosis will resolve after time into the body and you will never know it was even there” is NOT always true. I am living proof I have had fat necrosis for 3 and a half years now and it is still there an egg shape size and it has stayed the same size for 3 years. My surgeon lied saying the same thing “don’t worry it will dissolve into the body” 3 and a half years later and it still hasn’t….. very painful and hurting everyday. Unfortunately very few surgeons will even perform fat necrosis removal so a lot of surgeons just dismiss it lying and saying it will eventually go away because they do not want to tackle the problem.
Mine just busted and started leaking brownish red liquid I was so scared it was everywhere but the hard egg sized ball is gone and the leakage is turning lighter

Hello I am suffering from horrible fat necrosis after having a cancerous tumor removed while I was pregnant. Is there anything you can do to help?
Thank you for sharing your w/all of US💕💜
My daughter had a bbl and she has a burning sensation underneath the skin….a burning sensation that you can’t pour water on. It’s been almost 4 weeks and she’s still very sore and can’t sit down comfortably. What can be done at this point? I know all people heal differently, but is this normal?
Tell her to go to see a freaking doctor if it’s that bad. It also takes the body months to recover from a procedure as invasive as a BBL.
Thank you for sharing! I'm making my payment for my surgery with you today! I can't wait till you snatch this body!

@@DrWilliamMiami How long should one wait before have light lymph drainage on a BBL?
It is dangerous necrosis on some occasion?, please I am worried, this video helped me a lot to clarify my doubts but I would like to know if there is any risk that dead fat goes to a vein or artery causing death, please help
This is very informative. Thank you dr. Miami. I appreciate your honesty.
How long after a bbl will fat necrosis develop?
Is there anything patients can do to help limit the fat necrosis? Do you think taking blood builders will maybe help a little?
What is the average cost to fix the necrosis? I had it on both sides. The size of a tennis ball. It happened immediately after surgery and haven’t had it fixed it’s been about to years and I am so insecure about it.
I have heard that daily massage with oil could possibly help fat necrosis dissipate. Would you agree/disagree?
If it has erupted through the skin then no but I do agree with deeper areas of fat necrosis.
@@DrWilliamMiami The skin is still intact. I will keep massaging, Thank you Dr. Martin for answering.

@@ladylove5519 I have only been doing it for about 9 days. I haven't seen much improvement. I think Dr. Miami means you would have to do it for a longer period of time, probably up to a year in order to get significant improvement.
Super informative… I had a first bbl in 2019, developed fat necrosis on my left side glute.. the size of the fat necrosis was more deep in to it.. I waited 3 years and never went away… I had a second round with a different doctor, he said he was able to remove all the fat necrosis and was able to injected fresh fat. Everything was fine until the fifth week of my second round… I started to feel hard areas in the same area and now kind of worry that I will develop fat necrosis for the second time😪 Worth mentioning that I do not have the symptoms that I had with the first time with fat necrosis ( the area was hot , bruised and painful) now, I have no pain, just the area feels hard.
Fat necrosis is certainly a problem for us and some patients are much more susceptible and develop it more than other patients--not certain why, but I have unfortunately have had patients with multiple areas of fat necrosis. Usually if it happens it is one area and it resolves fairly quickly.
@@DrWilliamMiami Thank you for the quick response Dr. I really hope it goes away.. I don’t want to go back to get it removed.
Dear dr, how much fat is advisable to inyect in the butt if we want to reduce visible fat necrosis. Thank you so much ♥️
Doctor I have lump and it is noticeable and it hurts when I touch it . I’m already 2 months and a half , the size of this lump is like a tennis ball. I have massaged the area but my doctor said it is too soon to predict. I have this lump since the second day. What should I do ? I’m very scared about it
Did you find out what you have? I have a couple of lumps they're so noticeable specially when I bend over or sit. My primary doc sent me to get an ultrasound, now I'm waiting on my results
How do you know if there’s abscess or not? What kind of test you will do to find out ?
Great info, thank you!👍
You explain things so well. So can you tell me if there are preventative measures we can take to get more oxygen to the cells? I know there are some liquid drops that you can put in water to oxygenate cells. I took them a few years ago when I was researching my grandmother's cancer diagnosis. Would something like that help??
The only way I am aware of to get higher amounts of oxygen into your blood is to breathe a higher concentration of oxygen (air is 21%) or to undergo hyperbaric oxygen therapy. The problem is the blood is nearly 100% saturated on room air so adding more oxygen doesn't really increase the concentration of oxygen in our blood significantly.
When fat necrosis happens , would that later on down the line become a problem ?
It can get hard and painful and reduce blood flow to that area and could possibly become cancerous
Omg I have this need to schedule a consultation
Can a person loose all the fat? If so what is the reason's why?? Thank you for educating us.
Dr, its almost four weeks, there is bump which was from day 1 after bbl but with the time its getting red and painful. I am really scared what to do.
This my thing why does it hurts so freaking bad???
Can you still continue massages with fat necrosis
I got blisters filled with fluid in my bbl on both sides. Now have scars size of golf balls. What do you recommend?
I didn't have a BBL but I do have fat necrosis in one buttock. I had some type of injury to that area even though I don't remember having an injury. Just trying to learn more about fat necrosis. Some days it seems to be decreasing in size and other days it seems bigger.
I have a appointment with u in 6 months I just want to stay I trust u completely I’m just scared of the how I I’m going to take the pain but if anything I’m going to grow from this whole experience ❤
Thank you. The first few days are hard. There is no sugar coating it--but it does get better quite quickly after these first few days and after that it is quite manageable.
Can you get a 2nd round of bbl if you have deep or superficial fat necrosis? 🙄🤷🏻♀️
Dr Williams hopefully you will see this because I need advice on my necrosis. Had the bbl 4 yrs ago mine is a superficial necrosis. It's above the muscle in the dermis but it doesn't bother me at all I can feel the lump. My question I want a rd two. Some surgeons say they can inject fat around the area and some suggest I lipo it out. What should I do? Mind you it's also encapsulated/calcified. Measurement 4.1x2.8x5.6
You can't lipo out fat necrosis. Liposuction can only remove fat because it is soft, but it can't remove something that is hard and calcified like fat necrosis. The best way is just to go ahead and have a second round and graft around it and essentially just ignore the fat necrosis. Removing it would cause more damage, and it's best just to leave it there considering it doesn't bother you.
Hi Dr. Willian I had a BBL on June 2020 and I got a large ball on one of my buttchick and it bothers me when I driving or sitting for awhile. my Dr.don't want to do a follow review.. even my chick it's deformed what can I do ? this is so depressed for me every morning..please help me with this🙏
My question is how long does it take for an extended tummy tuck to heal
So I’m 12 weeks post op and found out I have fat necrosis but at this time it’s doesn’t hurt and isn’t red or anything…but it feels like golf ball size to me. Will I have to get it removed? If it doesn’t hurt can I just leave it and it be fine?
I have this now thanks so much I’ll let it take care of itself
