A unique talent that cross genres in style, Grum aka Graeme Shepherd has enjoyed a trailblazing 18 months that has included an Essential Mix, unanimous support at BBC Radio 1, as well as a string of uplifting club hits like "Sunday Blue Sky" and "Straight To Your Heart".
Having recently supported Above & Beyond in both Europe and USA, Grum's classy melodic sound has felt increasingly match-made for their legendary Anjunabeats label and the alliance begins with the brilliant "Trine EP".
Offering three sides of his diverse sound, the "Trine EP" opens with the deep but euphoric progressive of Above & Beyond favourite "U", which blends Northern Exposure-era Sasha & Digweed-esque textures with a big room bounce and Grum's distinctive nu disco roots. The retro-futurist trance of "Lightspeed" recalls the classic Paul Oakenfold Essential Mixes of the 90s, whilst quirky deep houser "Builder" lives up to its name; already supported by Annie Mac and Danny Howard on BBC Radio 1.
A perfect trio, each one pulls on classic, timeless dance textures, but comes polished with a contemporary sheen and stamped with Grum's unmistakable touch.

I love the marriage of 80's new wave and Pryda-esque progressive house in Grum's sound.

Deep and progressive house, edm, trap, electronic, trance, r&b, it's all evolving. I love the constantly changing music scene

Sounds like it should belong to Anjunadeep
Feel Good Music Or a garbage can. This track sounds like something my 12 year old brother shit out in his first week of FL Studio.
Ken0tic Nah, i think it's good, i think it's effective simplicity! :-)
let your 12 year old brother come up with this, and let us hear.
thanks :-)
Ken0tic k, so sign to anjuna, or any major label then. This is the start of a new direction for progressive music. and by new direction, you could say a step back. a step back from all the cheese and tasteless bells and whistles. dont think, feel. Grum is one of the few artists that masters simplicity. yeah, we all know this sounds like he opened up sylenth1 and made a song from some presets. Lets see you do better. this is fantastic.
