I can’t wait for the house tour! Your children are so blessed to have you as a mother. They will have such wonderful memories of all the holidays. My son is 27 years old and still says “Christmas house is his favorite house“. His fiancé remarks on how much he loves to decorate and gets so excited for Christmas. I think I will take credit for that! 😊
I saw a reel on Facebook where someone put their Christmas village on top of their cabinets and it was gorgeous! Thought it was such a great idea!

It’s looking beautiful. I think you could put garland on top of cabinets. It would fill in the dead space at the top of the kitchen. As for the Santa.. you made a picture wall last year in the living room. What about placing him on the wall above where the laundry room was? Or… over the basket ball net😅

I Think your kitchen is beautiful however I Think you should put the lighted garland over the cabinets keep up the good work your videos have inspired me to go beyond what used to be my normal way of decorating along with my Grandson who gave me the sad face look when I said I wasn't doing Christmas that year so I looked for inspiration and your channel was the first one in the search that was three years ago I have been watching every since again I thank you for the inspiration HAPPY HOLIDAYS.

Lauren, I would never tell you what you should do for decorating, everything you do is perfection and I'm quite sure most of us couldn't do better. Do what you want and most of us will love it. I do wish these people who think they know better than you would leave their you tube channels in the comments for us to see. I know you don't care for what your house looks like, but it's a thousand times better looking than mine way before you did any changes to it, I think it's awesome.
Speaking for myself, she asked for our opinion. Of course she knows what she can do, she is fabulous that is why I watch her, I watch her to learn…..don’t get mad. She asked.

I suggest you put some Santa’s or reindeer on top of the cabinets with maybe some greenery. I don’t think you necessarily have to do garland but it needs something.
Lauren- I would put your Santa picture above the stove and add greenery with lights and red ribbon- the rest of the kitchen looks great.

Lauren great job ! You’re the best wife and mom honey !! After the holidays you deserve Lauren time a spa day and a good book a bottle of wine, I always have a me day after the holiday I go for a massage a pedicure a Starbucks coffee and I come home and lay in bed and just have a relaxing day ! We all need to be kind to ourselves and not feel guilty about doing it ! I’m 65 and I’ll tell you the time flys by and before you know it you say what the hell happened can’t do all this stuff anymore!! lol Your amazing girl!! Everything looks so beautiful your mama would be so proud!

Looks great!! My suggestions for the kitchen would be to add dark wood, chunky cutting boards under your vignettes to ground them and add small touches of black throughout like black bells on the ends of your red ribbon on your wreaths for example. Black will help everything look a little richer.

Have you thought about doing a ton of small trees on top of your cabinets? You could continue you're snowing forest theme from upstairs on the cabinets. My mom did that one year and like it so much she just takes the snow and twinkle lights down when it's not Christmas so its just a forest up there.

Some garland above the cabinets would look awesome.
Garland with red ribbon and lights would look great at the top of the cabinets. You could also put every single gingerbread/Christmas themed house you have up there to look like a little village or even show off your collection of Santas up there with the garland! You could even display pictures of your family through the years that were taken around Christmas time! ❤ I could also see you pulling off mini trees up there!

The only place I can think for the Santa picture is above the family room fireplace but I know you have the new print there from Home Goods. I'm not sure if there is a good place on the landing or not?? Sometimes stuff doesn't make the cut. I had to put back a lot of really cute stuff I love because it doesn't all work every year. As for something missing.. Maybe some greenery above the kitchen cabinets? The rest all looks really cute.
The kitchen looks amazing! I do miss the wonderful Santa painting, but not sure where it should go. It was so beautiful and unexpected above the stove in the Victorian. Maybe you’ll use it next year in your new dining room!

Above my cabinets we have twinkle lights that are a soft pink color and my gingerbread homes and people. I love it. It allows for it to display without the worry of being over the top.
I would add one medium size Christmas green onion shape ornament to each of your cabinet wreaths. It would keep things simple but add the bit of color you feel is needed. Garlands have been done before, and will take a lot more time.

Your decor is gorgeous. I would lay while lights along the llp of tour cabinets. Also maybe add a small breath or two on some of the small windows under cabinets.

I think it’s just right. The kitchen being open to the den & there is a lot going on in there…. I do miss the giant Santa painting though. PS…still impressed with how the counters have held up.
Oh my goodness, your gingerbread stuff is adorable, I think by your rolling pin you just need a pop of red and then I definitely would be getting greenery and lights on top of those beautiful cabinets. What a great opportunity.… Maybe some red or off-white velvet bows, or even peppermint bows❤ your home is so beautiful!!! You are such a great mom… I love to treat my children to things like that even still, when they’re all grown and married❤

Hi Lauren, I absolutely miss the Santa above the stove it brought such whimsical charm to the kitchen. If it’s too large maybe try another Christmas print, picture above the stove. And then maybe only two wreaths on only the two cabinet doors to the left and right of the stove so that the mini wreaths make a statement of their own less is more that way the kitchen still looks white and bright and traditional. Acrylic or Glass reindeers would be really pretty to add that special touch.🙏🏼
