Wow man, stumbled upon ur channel while researching smaller RL content creators. This is by far one of the cleanest channels out there. Keep up the great work! You deserve way more subs.
In a match, when you see that purple line at your tires (trails) it means that you are going with super sonic speed. And you can't go Faster than that, even if you keep boosting. So if you see those trails, stop boosting. So you are gonna spare boost for later that you might need.
8:47 I’m happy he mentioned do what you enjoy, I think doing what u enjoy is not said as often as it should be because me personally I love doing all off then because I find it exciting and fun
I hit platinum my first season doing nothing but going very, very fast all the time. The next season, I worked, and worked on mechanics, and dropped to gold. I could hit aerials and do basic air rolls and my shooting was much better, but I was still losing. So I went back and looked at replays from first season. In my first season I was all over the place. Even if I wasn't accurate or able to aerial, I was constantly challenging, hitting the ball from the other teams blind spot. No one could dribble because I'd be right there out of nowhere. Now I'm trying to combine the two, and shooting for diamond in season 3.
Agree with everything in this video. Although once you’re grand champ you need to learn all the “fancy mechanics” to climb higher. But yes definitely focus on fundamentals first. If you miss open nets, it doesn’t matter if you can flip reset or double tap
What are the basic fundamentals? I’m a beginner and have been focusing on flying, aerials, and dribbling and I don’t know if that’s what I should be doing.
@@splixyt595 on god and I be getting it at the worst times and I just have to hope my team mate can hold off there rush long enough for my WiFi to stop acting like a special needs kid
I have an amazing trick for the plats out there, if you REALLY wanna get out of plat then do this, I literally moved out of plat in under 5 hours, The trick is to play like a bronze
in my opinion i think fancy mechanics do help. lots of high rank players do them because just normal shots dont actually do much with the speed of the players, stuff like air dribble bumps are really good and ceiling shots, ceiling shots are easy and you can fake a ceiling shot or hit it opponents just have to guess. im not saying go for double flip resets and stuff like that but the simple double tap, ceiling shot and air dribble do help, obviously its just my opinion but id did help me rank up :)
i’m a high gc i was 1700 and flip resets and air dribble are so deadly in a 1v1 scenario they are super helpful but i would stay away from learning them after you gc or a high rank in general not in diamond or low champ or anything lower
I only had one arieal and I’ve changed my mindset from a defensive mindset to a patient and fast mindset I’ve scored more goals and ranked up when I couldn’t and now I have 5 total arieals yes 5 is bad but in under 2 weeks 5 arieals are a great improvement, I know I’m bad and when I play offense and my teammates play defense I know it’s my fault they whiffed the ball bc I let it get to our side . Tho I have good recovery and ok striking. I know I’m bad.
I struggle with defense and offense. IDK which to go so I mostly o offense but my team decides to ho for the aerial kick when am going for it leaving not open sometimes they re so bad that the ball rebounds making a pass 4 the enemy team but since he took my shot and left defense they score. But I always use the chat saying "I got it!" But they dont listen also they take my shot on open nets but most of time they miss because they didt have a good angle and were cocky. Also once I was able to get passed of the 2 enemies leaving the ball tours the goal but my team took it and I threw. .......so don't be jerk let ur team8 get some shots try defense.
Just started playing two weeks ago and just started watching your videos over the weekend and my whole game play style has changed in competitive 1v1 I went straight from unranked to gold 1 I kept wondering why they were pairing me up to silvers after my 6th game then bam gold 😁
Doing 1’s is the most important i think.. been stuck in plat3 2v2 for a month.. so i decided to only do ones for a while.. increased my rank super fast to diamond 2.. in the end, i was the bad teammate😂
air dribbles do help you rank up the other team won’t know what to do and panic and you can score and easy go especially in gold or plat the first thing i did when i played was practice air dribbling and help me a ton definitely go for air dribbles
I love and hate ones. I love it because I don't have crazy teammates that think they're gods - and thus never pass, cut every rotation and never, ever go for a save. I hate it because when the only one to blame is *you* is confrontational. Also because of the latter point it should be mandatory for every ranked RL player to have at least played 300 1v1 matches in ranked: it'll be a humbling experience, trust me. Especially once you're around 'your' ones rank.
For me the more comfortable I am in the air the higher my rank. Like the difference between plat and gold is that in plat plp go in the air more. Not air dribble but just go up for more things and speed
Depending on the mode meaning all other than 1s diamonds probably whiff more than bronze cause of challenging to make the drops the back for your teammate
You just made me realize I already practice the fundamentals of music and I should apply that to my video games if I want to be better work on the basics to get better and later go to the cooler things
#1 should have been use ball cam and switch back to the direct cam only when necessary... my first many hours didn’t have ball cam on and it sucks when you don’t know any better.
should i switch to controller? i just started playing, but i dont have a controller to play on. i’m plat 1-gold 3 and i think i can improve faster with a controller.
Any tips for someone who plays in a support roll? I really enjoy when I can set other people up for a nice play. So I see them, give them the pass. And they just drive away and start calling me shit. I play in Diamond and most of the time i'm in 3v3 by my own, since my friends are in gold. Any tips????
Dont pay attention to the video. Learn air dribble. Learn ceiling shot. Learn all of that, it helps greatly. All you need to learn with that is how to play.
im c3 1s. and play like 5 days the day if i have enough time, if i dont have time i just play 2s 3s or rumble with my low ranked mates o. s. i dont have any GC m8s, thats why
