What about the snap ring included and the groove built into the joint specifically for it? There's no mention of it in the video, however when I took the old joint out it didn't have the ring on it either, but it looked like it was seated crooked and they couldn't get it on. It looks crooked in the video as well, is that normal for these knuckles or what?
I saw a guy use a type of C-clamp that had a cap-less/hollow top so you could push the old ball joint out of the socket there with minimal effort. Not sure what he used though

Nice video. Straight to the point.
Just messing... you are an excellent mechanic miss.
Noticed you said 28mm for removing the lower ball joint castle nut and 32mm for putting it back on. Any reason for the different sizes? Thanks!
Is that thread protector piece required? I didn't see her put it on, but it is shown in the picture.
Dose that second nut just thread off? The one that is the nuckle insert

Yeah this lady is doing this the hard way, borrow a ball joint press from autozone
@@tylerhale1696 Exactly. She made a 10 minute step into a 3 hour step doing it without an easily accessible ball joint press....
Gutes Video, sehr gute Arbeit und gut erklärt Danke.
Excellent!
Why did the video skip the install of the upper ball joint??
+Mike Hebbeler Thanks for the tip! We'll pass this info along to our production team. 1aau.to/m/Shop-TRQ
Don’t have to take the axle nut off, just take it out with the hub attached
When you have all the proper tools it's easy peasy Japanese

She don’t fck around
How about remove the top ball joint first using a press, and you don't have to beat out the lower. What kind of instruction is this. JOKE!
