the Dr looks so much like Jola
My thoughts exactly
This is what I just said!
She even sounds like her
This was an emotional episode for me...I lost a very close friend and my neighbor in school in 2020( may his soul Rest In Peace) and had to move houses to cope after d pandemics and still cry a lot when I hear of sickle cell and remember him cuz I didn’t know but he was always very careful...He tried to play football with us and dance with us but little did we know it caused him pain...Man was such a jolly good fellow who was a major part of me passing my first medical exams...I try my best to create awareness for Sickle cell and still pray God helps me to fulfill the promise I made to him in death....Rest In Power Benjamin🕊....I love you forever Gee🤍
So sorry about your friend. I lost one of my best friends too and it shook my entire world. May their souls rest in perfect peace.
i loved the guests! i would love to hear Dr Akinsete speak more.
I really loved this episode. It was so educational and informative. Both guests were amazing and I loved that they both got equal time to talk in-depth. The beginning was fun and light and the conversation flowed so well. 💛✨🌻 Wonderful hosting, wonderful vibes, wonderful scenes. 💛💛. Really best in podcast.
Btw, I love Michael Jackson’s outfit. You cannot beat me.
Dr Akinsete and Precious Gaza! I love you both! You made this episode interesting with your insight and anecdotes. ❤️ Jollz and FK, you did such a good job of hosting….you asked the questions!
🙏🏾
A fan of this podcast but today I am here for Precious Gaza
I really appreciate this episode, I lost my cousin a few months ago to sickle cell and seeing this brought back so much pain but it was necessary. Thank you guys. Keep up the good work!!
Thank you Dr. Annette and Precious for bringing more sickle cell awareness! I didn't realize that it is mainly the Malaria belt across Africa that is burdened - important to note.
I so much love this Dr. She's really a teacher. Love her
I’d love to hear Dr. Akinsete speak more

This episode is excellent.
May I suggest you run repeats of it as often as possible (perhaps every World Sickle Cell Day or Sickle Cell Awareness Month) on all your social media platforms.
Loved this, was super educative, but I wish Precious spoke more about her firsthand experiences, felt the doctor spoke over her a lot because she’s so soft-spoken🥺
She did, listen to the full version
Thank you Dr Akinsete. Thank you, Precious Gaza. Thank you Jola and FK.
Listening to Dr Akinsete speak reminds me of the episode with mama Burna.
This was such a good episode, I really appreciate the different perspectives y'all give us. Truly, best in podcast. I'd also just like to say FK's explanation about "soft landing on a sofa floor" was absolutely nuts but accurate lol!
Absolutely loved this episode ❤️

Great work!
I really enjoyed this episode and I learnt a lot, but we missed out on the solution part, the doc didn’t mention the way out. We know they are sick and need to get to the hospital but what’s the long term solution if there’s any?
