When making clothes I eyeball the size and width of my fabric, so exact measurements are not mentioned in the video. The finnished pants' waist line is a little high, but in order to make the top snuggly fit, this is necessary. I've made my pants for figures that have tails, but if yours don't, simply ignore the tail space.

If you wanted to make the waistband fit better you could stretch a thin piece of elastic and sew it around the waist part. You wouldn't have to use a closure but it might look a little funny idk

yea elastic would have been perfect but its rly hard to sew elastic on when your sewing machine has broken down...
