The specification hasn't changed since it was first examined in 2018. I made alternative videos for last year when there was Advance Information, so I renamed these 2023 so it's clear it's the right video to use.

It covers everything in the specification. Having said that, a "grade 9" question is never going to be just factual recall: it will be data analysis or applying knowledge to new situations, so it's not possible for this kind of video to prepare you for a grade 9 question. But there's nothing from the spec missing!

It's not one specific year's paper. It's the full specification: all of the stuff that could be examined in the paper. So yes, it covers everything that was examined in 2019, but also 2018 and 2020 and some stuff that hasn't been examined yet.
@@DrdeBruinsClassroom so is combined science just a shorter paper but can the same difficulty/ topics that come up in triple higher come up in combined trilogy?
@@4kmrii Same difficulty, yes. Same topics, no. The 8464 specification is Combined Science. The 8461 specification is GCSE Biology. If you look at the Biology spec you'll find (biology only) written after certain topics like monoclonal antibodies or the brain. Those topics are not examined in Combined Science. Combined Science is still examined to the same level, and you can still achieve up to grade 9-9, but you only get 2 GCSEs not 3, hence the shorter papers.
