Is it possible to use a CVT drive on a mid-drive ebike? Chains are loud and they break. Transmissions are mechanical, heavy and expensive. CVT's are lightweight, cheap, quiet and seem like the perfect solution...?

The E bikes looks cool and all to buy but some of them are crazy expensive , because to me no E bikes should cost as much as a brand new car ......i guess they don't want to sell them to just anyone that wants 1 they only want a certain group to buy them
