Terrific cable job on the Radmere sweater. I just finished the Belfast cardigan for my husband. Took me off & on two yrs. He’ll finally get it for Christmas.
For ribbing i usually at least double for the cuffs as what I may have done with the collar and the bottom i usually stay pretty close to the cuffs. But really I just go until I like it disregarding my collar length most of the time.
With ribbing, I don't mind different lengths but they all have to be the same pattern/type of ribbing ( K1 P1/ K2 P2/ K3 P1 etc). Years ago, I came across one pattern where they had the collar one type of ribbing and then the cuffs and bottom ribbing were other ribbings - Just made my head hurt thinking how they would look off to me. A lot of times I might just change what the designer calls for in a pattern (type of ribbing and/or length of ribbing) to something I prefer / what I think looks better with the design.
Sleeve cuff ribbing needs to be at least 2” to 4” long in my world. Bottom rib is needs to be, very minimum 3” to 4” and ribbing for the next 1” to 1.5”. Just my thoughts on ribbing.
