Things to do in Mcleodganj - Mcleodganj Vlog
Shiva Cafe
We visited Mcleodganj during the pandemic. So many popular attractions were closed. So we made the most of our trip to Mcleodganj and Dharamshala by visiting the Shiva cafe, the coolest and the hippiest place Mcleodganj. Do try their banana chocolate pancakes.
Bhagsu Nag Temple and Bhagsu market
The little trek to Shiva Cafe starts from Bhagsu Nag. It takes you around 30 to 40 minutes to reach the cafe. While you are at Bhagsu Nag, do pay a visit to Bhagsu Nag Temple. An Ancient shiva temple popular among Hindu pilgrims. Bhagsu market is a great place for shopping too. Do check that out for clothes and souvenirs.
PS - Bhagsu Nag waterfall can only be visited in summers.
Tibet Market Mcleodganj
The most popular place is right in the heart of Mcleodganj. Best to buy local Tibet souvenirs and clothes. You will witness the local culture here and the vibe is super cool.
Do buy colorful wollen socks, mojris, caps, headbands, gloves, strolls, and a lot more. Also, buy peculiar antiques, buddha idols, bells, chimes, prayer wheels, happy drums, and singing bowls.
Food To Try
Do try the famous Tibetan Thali at the Tibet Kitchen in the main McleodGanj market. Try momos, thupkas, and noodles at local any stall or shop you will love the taste.
