IMO I think Bobby Lashley vs Brock Lesnar should have main event Summer Slam ‘18...coming off a clean win over Roman was a perfect time...we could have had a classic main event match with the suspended disbelief that bobby might finally beat the beast for the title...it would brought new dynamic storyline and a new main event star...you could always down the road toss the title back and forth with Lesnar, Roman or strowman...I really don’t understand the storyline booking with WWE
In order to understand how they think and book, you'd need to either remove or disable a large section of your mind. We will see every remaining Brock match used up and wasted on Roman Reigns in some way or another. The triple threat coming up with Roman/Braun/Brock will see Roman win by pinning Braun. From there, WWE will figure out some way to eventually force another singles match between Brock and Roman in everybody's face and have Roman beat Brock clean finally. From there, if Brock has any more appearances in WWE they will be wasted on additional rematches against Roman so WWE can fully enforce in our minds how superior Roman is to Brock. It's similar to how a guy like Batista was forced to lose to John Cena ENDLESS times after Batista originally had beaten him and seemed superior. WWE has to "fix" our perceptions of who is superior. Since this is their logic, obviously there's no reason to ever give us a Bobby Lashly vs Brock Lesnar match because how would that match help make Roman look superior to Brock? lol
It seems storylines have died in sports entertainment...if the story isn’t going the way they want..they will force it..like faces cheering for Becky
