Also, it's a Marcus bobble head because, as seen in the Borderlands intro, on Marcus's bus, there's a bobble head of himself on his dashboard, also, later on in the play-through, larger cash drops are not shown as bills, but Marcus bobble heads.

The reason they made the Marcus Munitions bobble-head is because you can get them as currency in Borderlands 1, He is like a rare "cash" per say.

jack johnson the bobble head is from the first game as a rare drop from enemies or from lockers. when picked up, it would count as a couple thousand dollars. I honestly don't know why they put this in the care package though.

The bobble head is because a Marcus bobble head is a recurring detail in both games (1st intro, enemy drop for cash, other random places as decoration)

also in the first game, sometimes when you see money drop you will see a marcus bobblehead and it counts as money when you pick it up
It is a Marcus bobble head because that is one version of money and also the rarest form

Very nice. 10 years ago it would come in a standard edition (except the loot chest). Borderlands 1 Goty comes with a nice Pandora's Map, and i've just unboxed my Borderlands 2 Goty and noticed that now it doesn't even come with a Map.
It is also found as a highly valued currency throughout the later stages of the game

the reason the bobblehead is of marcus is because that is already an item in Borderlands 1 that upon pickup provides money.
I have one of the "loot chests" and sure its not like metal or the top quality but I think people have completely underestimated it. It is made of plastic, but its not the kind that will break in one day. Its actually quality plastic that will hold its own
That's correct, it was also worth a lot of money in the first game, roughly 200-1000 in game dollars. Little extra info there.

it was a marcus bobble head, because that was one of the 'collectables' throughout one of the DLC's, and its also worth alot in world of Pandora...
When it first came out it was $150 but now because of how rare it is it goes for $300+ usually more than $500.

You can still keep Salvador and most likely come by the item again, and yeah, put it in Clap's "Hidden Locker" to give to other players, but you will loose keys if you go on one character and use keys, and go to another
pull apart the loot chest, make a mold of it and cast it with lost wax method in iron ! that would be awesome !

They made the bobble head of Marcus because the same bobble head is the first thing you see in the opening cut scene from the original Borderlands

In the first Borderlands the Marcus bubble heads where worth a lot of money so that may be why they chose to give Marcus bubble heads. I think....

All I got was a weak grenade and a shield specially made for Salvador the Gunzerker. I already had a bouncing betty grenade that can spawn six child grenades and its stats are something like 800 x 7. I am currently playing as Axton and I am at level 25 without battling the warrior yet. I am up to the stage where you meet Brick (Slab King). I got a non legendary sniper rifle that deals 590 damage and it comes with a sweet bayonet as well as guns that deal between 190 to 2,000 points in damage.

To be fair, Marcus bobble heads are an item in Borderlands 1. You pick them up are they are worth a good chuck of cash. So it's not just a bobble head, it's a Borderlands 1 in game item.
I'm happy I just got the standard edition, would have been disappointed that the loot chest is not opening like ingame :)
