Hell I was in 8th grade when Juice came out in 92 and I first heard "Kill a Man." Immediately bought their first album on cassette. My suburban Catholic school ass would ride around the neighborhood on my bike listening to Cypress Hill and thinking I was a bad ass.
Hahaha I didnt go to Catholic school but I damn sure drove around town bumpin Cypress Hill, 3-6 Mafia, NWA, Nirvana and some Led Zeppelin! Didnt think I was hard but I thought my jams were lol. Even now that I'm in my late 30s, that music still holds up and still gets my hype! hahaha ain't nostalgia just the best!?!?!
I remember being a a shorty in 1st grade taking my dads cd player listening to yo quiero fumar Mota (Spanish version of “I want to get high”) before school and recess. then my teacher asked what I was listening to and got upset with me not mad but upset hahaha…
This is easily in my top 3 podcasts ever done. Haha B Real is just like let me know to Steve-O's redemption record shit. As a big ol pot head we salute you B Real.
33:24 At one point, my friend and I were seriously contemplating trying to open a dispensary once the legislation got passed in Florida. A $60,000 dollar, Non-refundable fee just to get on the waiting list for a license. It basically became a free-for-all among the super rich because they came in and started buying up most of the licenses that were available at the time. Alot of them weren't even Florida residents. It's unreal how screwed up the legislation is in some states!
I'm not surprised one bit that B is super intelligent, especially since his lyrics are on another level to begin with. Great job with this one guys! #CH4LIFE
I loved Cypress Hill so much in grade 10 (92) I wrote Insane in the Membrane on the front of my schoolwork binder. Long time fan. Loved this interview!
Man, I loved cypress hill from the start. Loved their sound especially 1st few albums. Hand on the pump. Illusions. I want to get high. Such great aura. That was a great time in hip hop.
I remember seeing cypress hill in concert back in like 2001 with Linkin Park and B-Real brought a huge bong onto the stage filled the chamber and cleared it. Shit was epic.
B real is a legend. Kudos to all the OG rap artists you got on here man. Steveo looks so focused on the conversation you can really tell he respects the hell out B real. He's at full attention.
I remember getting a bootleg cassette tape in 1993 when I was in grade 6 here in Australia. Black Sunday on one side, rage against the machine on the other side. Changed my life. Word spread fast. B Real is a legend!
Any Hollywood undead fans here ? Black Cadillac ft B Real. Great song and great guy. Definitely one of my favorite guests you’ve had. What a good episode it was very interesting and never got boring such a humble, cool and intelligent man.

Hey steve-O I've been sober for 9 months now. Use to be a trashcan for hard drugs and alcoho and am currently homeless trying to fight to get everything back especially love and respect from the people I care about. I know you'll probably never see this but thought I'd at least try.. I'm on step 2 and I have no option but to do the steps. I know if i go back to my old ways I won't be able to make it out alive again. I'm struggling with step 2 my sponsor has me reading the big book. Reading we Agnostic i just felt like their was so much wrong with it. I just wanted to ask what does step 2 and 3 mean to you? I feel like I have it but then hear God all the time and it bothers me because not every religion has a God and I wouldn't call the power that is greater then myself God. I think it's just the vocab that bothers me. I know I'm going to keep running into this God thing and I don't want it to affect my recovery. I believe I'm not the only one that is pushed away from the steps because of this but like I said from what it say and from what I know about myself I have no other options. Love you dude.
When you hear "god" think "universe", you know it's real, you know it's a greater power than yourself, not everyone needs religion. Best of luck brother
Hope you doing better now my dude. Ye I struggle with religion in a way too, there are people that don't use it as a means of oppression and talking down on others but for the most part, the version I was given and what it is truthfully historically most used for is oppression and control by some of the most un-christ-like individuals imaginable. At the end of the day its what you do in this plane of existence that matters the most, obviously you and your well-being comes first but then after that its how you treat others, the type of energy you put out. That's just how I see it.
Still remember s show in Cleveland where Cypress Hill was supposed to go on next so EVERYONE busted out their green. HOWEVER they were not ready or something so Fuel went on instead.
